Last but not least, someone pointed out that blood moon is sideboard, I agree
because burn is a decent portion of the meta, and they don't care about
blood moon, they'll just bolt you to death.
That is wrong.
In modern, Blood moon is only good in maindeck. It is not a card you can just put into your deck, you need to have quite specific manabase for it, and when you'll play against a good opponent, he'll notice your straight UR manabase, and will play around blood boon in game 2. Fun thing is, Blood moon is not a dead card against modern burn, because it's either 2- or 3-colored deck which plays no non-mountain basics.
If we use all our mana each turn, then why would we want more manlands in the first place?
Conclave can make blue mana, has evasion, can be pumped by architect. Mutavault has only one upside in coming into play untapped, which is not actually that relevant because you need a lot of blue mana if you don't have engineer.
You can keep 2-lander with conclave and nexus. 2-lander with nexus and mutavalut is a snap mulligan.
2-1 today at FNM. Won against BW tokens and Grixis Shadow, lost to mono-black devotion.
Lodestone was MVP, and Master of Etherium did pretty well too. He is actually better in this deck than in affinity because you can convoke him, make him cheaper with sculptor, and you have more mana than affinity in general, while they always have to pay full three, which is a lot for them. However, if you cut sculptors, some copters, and have no pests i see how he is not that good anymore. I want to try Superion as 1-of, but he's so fragile and does not really help the deck's game plan. Maybe in a sideboard..
And that's why i said "if you want to combo via whir". I think idea here is that whir can search two of three your combo pieces. Still does not search for Architect..
If the guy actually posting this purchased it and then posted it on Magic sites like the Magic subreddit, the likelihood that he knew he was purchasing stolen goods is very high, and that is also a crime. A crime which he has flat-out admitted to.
There are legal defenses against this, but nothing strong. 1) "I didn't know this was protected IP?" a) "If you know anything Magic IP, then yes, you did. If you didn't, and had to find the place to post it, then you had the time and ability to determine whether it was protected..." Etc. etc.
Or, he can sell it to someone outside of US who does not give a damn about US laws.
If you concerned about storm and dredge you can try Disrupting Shoal. It stops their most explosive starts (creatures for storm, reunion for dredge), and you don't lose tempo.
Also, what do you guys think about one Batterskull in 75?
I think the real question regarding vial is stuff you need to cut for it. Because yes in a vacuum aether vial is great, but you need to max out on creatures, cutting interaction. You'd have to go 4 removal, 4 discard, 4 vial and 26-ish creatures, with 22-ish lands. Is the trade-off worth it? Maybe.
I'd love to read more reports on people testing different versions before i dive back in this deck.
I agree completely. Vial puts a huge squeeze on your non-creature spells. My first go will be with 4 Thoughtseize, 4 Push, 4 Vial, and the rest creatures and lands. Sadly, that leaves no room for Liliana, but I expect the freed up mana will be useful for all the activated ability costs. I'll report back with my findings.
Why do you want maindeck discard? You are just warping your aggro deck into a bad jund.
Really, Mtgsalvation?
We come here to read and write about our favorite game, not to discuss some internet drama between boy and girl.
Please don't be like those in the internets and don't spread the fire. Thank you.

If you want to combo via whir you can play 1-of Expedition Map + Tolaria West. Not sure if it's worth it in aggro version though.
