T1: Breeding Pool > Noble Hierarch
T2: Overgrown Tomb > Swiftfoot Boots > Dork
T3: Land > exile simian spirit guide > Tree > equip boots > tap tree > diminish tree > gut shot
I was working on something that was kind of a variation on this, and this thread gave me some ideas
my original Idea had 4 farseeks, 4 pilgrims, and 4 temple gardens to go with 2 gavony townships, but after reading this thread I want to go back to mono green
This version gets to have fun with worldspine wurm and the new garruk. Also playing garruk and +1ing into a few elves and a craterhoof or worldspine(with memorial out)would be so fun
still thinking of the sideboard, and kalonian hydra wouldn't be as effective in my version, so maybe just run thraggy
so everyone is using Sire of Insanity in the sideboard, but has anyone else tried Ruric Thar?
I've been testing him against bant, UWR, and esper and he has been a blowout everytime
the only thing even remotely scary is boros reckoner, but even then they are forced to trade if they have one, and if I have a dreadbore the turn after I drop ruric its over anyway
esper just gets to scoop the moment he resolves
though ruric is definitely less mainboardable than sire, but I'm not mainboarding either in aggro
My idea is to have creatures vying for underworld leadership. Underworld Ascension
When ~ enters the battlefield put a counter on a creature you control. When a creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may sacrifice a creature with a counter and move counter to new creature. Creatures you control with counter have deathtouch, lifelink, and destroy target creature
There would also be a cost on the destroy, at minimum of course T

A full 10 exact cards for a modern T3 kill
draw 4 cards for 4 mana, then an additional 2 cards for each 1 mana above that
Sylvan Offering is going straight into my hippo deck
T2: Murmuring Phantasm (Evolve)
T3: Wall of Frost (Evolve)
T4: Cloudfin Raptor, Wall of Frost (Evolve x2)
T5: Phenax (Evolve X2) (Mill for 27)
This is the kind of janky mill christmas land I can get behind

I would probably cost this as 3BBB
