Rakshasa's secret. It's a slow format, and mind rot is great in the midrange and control mirrors.
The hateblade requires white mana early, and is very fragile. Plus, you need to leave up mana to activate it. It's fine in an aggressive deck that is using it to enable raid, but not great in a BRw control deck.
Tough pick between the two removal spells. I think we have good enough mana and enough unconditional removal to give the nod to the more efficient spell, kill shot.
Tuskguard captain. Our mana is way too dodgy for the black cards, and we need creatures (we have a bunch right now, but we can't realistically play them due to mana constraints).
swiftwater cliffs. That gives us enough mana to splash the charm and burn away, probably. Fitting those cards into the deck is more important than the loxodon.
With all our delve enablers, I have no problem playing a second delve card in set adrift, even if it isn't the most powerful effect. Also, there's not much else in the pack...
The big problem with this deck is its low creature count. We've got the second half of this pack to pick up three playable creatures... :-\
The deathtoucher is good, but the mardu hordechief is better. Also, somehow we only have three other three-drops (not counting anafenza, who will rarely come down on turn 3), so it's not like we're throwing off our curve by taking the more powerful card.
Tough pick. I wish I could remember if there was one that might wheel to us....
How many black sources do you guys see playing in this deck? The parapets are going to be really hard to activate in multiples.

Canyon lurkers, because it's a playable.

This would be our sixth two-drop. Overall, our curve looks excellent.
That's 13 creature, and 6 spells, just counting RW and couple blue splash cards. We're almost there.
