Hi! I have a question concerning Veil of Summer. Say I'm about to cast a spell and I'm worried that it will get countered, can I cast Veil of Summer in response to my opponents counterspell? If so do I get to draw a card due to it's trigger? Or do I have to cast Veil before I cast my spell? Are there any tricks I can use with this card? Thanks in advance!!
I have a Sanctum Seeker in play and attack with four other 1/1 vampires (opponent takes the damage). Does my opponent take 4 from the vampire's combat damage and then lose an additional 4 life as I gain 4. Or does my opponent only lose 1 life and I gain 1. The card says: Whenever "a" vampire attacks, each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life. Not: Whenever "each" vampire attacks...
Suppose I have a fat creature such as Griselbrand in my hand, a Lion's Eye Diamond in play and hard cast Shallow Grave. Can I crack the LED in response, pitching my hand (with Griselfatty in it) to the yard, and reanimate him??
Thanks in advance! I know you can do this with Exhume and not with Reanimate because Reanimate targets the creature and Exhume doesn't. I'm just not sure how it works with Shallow Grave since it says "the top creature card".
I'm building a sideboard for my mono green legacy Winter Orb + Root Maze deck. I'm wanting to sb against stompy decks and in particular Eldrazi Stompy. My deck runs a full set of both Utopia Sprawls and Wild Growths. I know Damping Sphere shuts down their Eldrazi Temples, Ancient Tombs and City of Traitors, but does it shut off my enchanted lands?
Okay, I'm pretty certain Damping Sphere shuts off the extra mana from cards like Wild Growth and Utopia Sprawl. I just want to double check from the judges. Thanks in advance!
So if you enchant Myth Realized with Angelic Destiny after it was recently turned into a creature, what happens to Angelic Destiny at the end of the turn when it becomes an enchantment again? Same with anything that can be turned into a creature until end of turn such as Mishra's Factory / Mutavault and/or any vehicle. Since the creature didn't die does Angelic Destiny go to the graveyard or back to your hand? My guess is graveyard. Is that correct?
With none of my own creatures in play I cast Smallpox discarding Bloodghast from my hand and sacking Flagstones of Trokair to it. Does Smallpox resolve then Flagstones trigger thus finding me a Plains and bringing my Bloodghast to the battlefield? What is the order in which things happen?
JUDGE!!! I have Drover of the Mighty in play and am about to play Raging Swordtooth.. What happens?? Does Drover get buffed and live before Swordtooth deals his damage or does Swordtooth deal damage thus killing him? My guess is that I get to choose the order being that I have priority. Is that correct or am I way off?
Thanks ahead of time!
Thanks in advance! I know you can do this with Exhume and not with Reanimate because Reanimate targets the creature and Exhume doesn't. I'm just not sure how it works with Shallow Grave since it says "the top creature card".
EDIT: Forgot card tags.
