published the article I'm been building this deck list in parallel with Donald and ISPathfiner way back last summer. I think it is my most competitive EDH list and plows through my playgroup (well before I upted it, once it beat 3 players, never played it since.)Posted in: Edric, Spymaster of Trest
Anyways here's the list. As always with EDH, number is what I'd pay for the card.
Average Cost is 1.38 and my mana ratio is 25.5U to 39.5 if you count my way (+1 for abilities requiring something -1 for extra producers +.5 for hybrid). -

published the article Hey guys, this is based off TheWarden's thread (HERE).Posted in: Post ALL the decks!
Essentially I broke the 30 casual deck barrier and since I keep most of my casual decks I decided posting them here would be a way to keep them all in one place.
Like TheWarden, I'll have a list of decks here and if anyone wants to see a list (PM me) and I'll post it and send you the link. I'll keep my casual and EDH decks here as I don't play competitive, most of the decks were budget at the time of making.
About me:
I am a johnny. I like deck building more than playing I think. I am the guy to beat in my playgroup. I've started playing in time spiral and didn't play from Lorwyn to Worldwake and started again in Rise of Eldrazi, I still deckbuilt a bit though. I started buying singles during Rise and thats when I went from like 5 decks to 15.
I don't know how often I'll check here so a PM would be nice in order to get my attention.
Here the list (Based on how long I've had the deck):
Casual:
-Knights [Tribal, W] Started off as a flanking deck.
-Fungus [Tribal, Tokens, G] Makes saprolings, lots of saprolings.
-Ghost Husk [Agro, Tokens, BW] Based on the old standard deck and updated with Innistrad.
-Rogues [Tribal, Agro, B] Mono black agro, newest deck.
EDH:
-Reaper King[Tribal] Scarecrow tribal with ramp.
-The Mimeoplasm[Selfmill, Combo] Pulled apart due to being too strong, I'm trying to get a deck list of my original build though.
-Damia, Sage of Stone [Control] Ramp, look non threatening and then chain cast non-draw Card Advantage gaining control spells. Has become a tiny bit good stuff. Shuffle your graveyard back in your library without all the ramp spells or lands and enjoy your 60 card deck.
-Riku of Two Reflections [Goodstuff] Ramp a lot, protect Riku and start winning with good spells. Most of the deck can be copied (except land and maybe 6 artifacts) and there is (was) two minor sub themes of clones and of recur spells (doubling them actually gives cards advantage.)
-Edric, Spymaster of Trest [Agro, Weenies] Lots of weenies, my only deck with extra turn effects, my best and more expensive EDH deck.
-Child of Alara Ramp, cast CoA, sac and recur while swinging for 6. Has indestructible creature subtheme.
-Nin, the Pain Artist [Tribal] Pinger Tribal, Steal effects and then hit them for Nin for a lot I don't think my opponents really ever draw off Nin. Low average cost. Has equipment for pingers as well as artifact mana.
-Tibor and Lumia [Spellslinging] Two creatures, artifact mana and equipments, few enchantments and a lot of instants and sorceries. Runs cost reducers and a lot of draw, plays like storm.
-Zedruu the Greathearted [Agro] Donates offensive and controlling auras for draw. Sunforger subtheme. Plays creatures and enchant them to make them huge. Win.
-Dralnu, Lich Lord [Control] Draw go. 44 lands, 1 creature and 55 instants. Themed so could be better if I didn't have those proportions. It is for fun. Low on win cons to focus more on control and orient people away from me. I can take on the last guy. -

Kill opposing creatures with burn, trying to stay alive. Play Grafted Skullcap or Mindstorm Crown, keep killing and draw more. Keep playing those and Pyromancer's Swath. It becomes very fast after a certain point. Draw 4 cards a turn, burn deals 2 extra damage to everything that takes damage? I've drawn the whole deck before im multiplayer. 9 cards a turn, 27 cards left in the library with 3 of them being Elixir of Immortality. Basicly gain 5 life a turn, have around 8 burn spells that deal an extra 8 damage to each target.
I own all the cards. -

published the article Hey guys,Posted in: [EDH]Reaper King
Im thinking of making a Reaper King EDH deck but my budget is REALLY small.
It would consist of the weaker changelings and scrarecrows. Almost all my lands will be basic and add in a bit of green. I will make it give me alot of card advantage over my opponent.
Substractions
Additions
What you guys think? Im sorta scared of the manabase.
Scouting Trek (Cultivate for now)
Shapesharer (Kodama's Reach for now)
Straw Soldiers (Rupture Spire for now)
Scarecrone (Shimering Grotto for now)
Sakura-Tribe Elder (Yavimaya Elder for now)
I bought a huge amount of cards (that are still in the mail) BUT I will be maknig this deck. I got maybe 95% of these cards (missing Scouting Trek, Shapesharer, Straw Soldiers, Sakura-Tribe Elder and Scarecrone all S).
I have bought alot of cards to help the manabase including the 10 Ravnica Signets (Not sure if I want to add them) but alot of dual lands that were cheap. I'll keep you updated when I recieve the cards.

Trick: Shrieking drake brings back ninja's to your hand as well as giving you a cheap flyer. Ornithopter is also a cheap flyer. Thalakos Seer has shadow (way better than flying) and gives me cards when I bounce him. Neurok Invisimancer gives me an unblockable ninja and a unblockable bouncable creature over 2 turns for 3 mana. Without counting the mana he save from not having to pay the ninjitsu cost of the first ninja. Minimum it's like 2 mana for 2 unblockables. Yay? Play those, then Ninjitsu for a "sneaky" ninja kill. Ronin Warclub makes your ninjas a threat to their life total too. Use your card avantage and unblockables to kill.

Trick: Everlasting Torment gives everything Wither. That means any damage on a creature gives me a token. Use the token to block/attack and get more. Get two Flourishing Defenses out and all hell breaks loose. Muraganda Petroglyphs makes every token give you 3 (or 5 or 7 or 9) when they die. Carnifex Demon kills shroud and gives me lots of token. Skinrender is filler. -
