I'd dump true conviction myself. Putting that on the board forces an impending sweep before you go ape on everyone -- I don't use big creature area buffs in my Doran deck for that reason. It also requires triple white in a 3 color deck which I'm not a fan of.
I'd also dump Chameleon colossus but I just don't think it fits with Doran very well. Dies to too many of your one-sided sweepers (retribution of the meek, wave of reckoning, austere command, and potentially Punishment for 4, which happens more often than you'd think:P).
He also gets gimped by ensnaring bridge, meekstone and marble titan, which I think synergize very very well with Doran as well.
I'd skip the paladin guy as well.
* I have seen Doran as big as 25/25 with a sword of fire and ice and lightning greaves. The Forgotten Ancient's ability doesn't target, which is very nice.
1) into the web of war and concordant crossroads and fires of yavimaya, maybe anger of ogre battledriver (when that comes out). This deck begs for haste.
2) sages of the anima is bonkers with sylvan library and pretty amazing with this deck as is.
3) in my Momir Vig version of this deck I play four spells: Genesis wave, primal surge, creeping renaissance, and praetor's counsel. I'd at the least add Praetor's counsel. it's so, so good and would help you come back from some kind of post-surge blowout).
4) Craterhoof Behemoth seems like a gimme in this deck. Also, Terastodon might be nice.
Might consider a scroll rack as well. being able to stick all your creatures in hand on top of your deck seems good.
Like any set where there aren't lands there's a disproportionate number of very solid playable rares/mythics that'll be 5-15 bucks:
-Scavenging ooze
-Mutavault
-Darksteel Forge
-Door of Destinies
-All of the planeswalkers are playable in at least something
-Archangel of Thune
And there's a ton of EDH playable deliciousness -- Scourge of Valkas in either Kaalia or Dragonstorm, Rise of the Dark Realms as a stupid black bomb, Shadowborn Demon as removal in a black deck.
It's a bit of a sleeper but I predict Goblin Diplomats will be key in a lot of janky EDH combo decks - it's easily tutorable with goblin tutors, cheap, and you can make people swing at your various creatures that do dumb things when they block (e.g. Phyrexian Obliterator).
Seems to synergize very well with past in flames as a late game finisher I guess. Past in flames - pillar x2 for 8. Don't expect most burn decks let it drag out that long though and pif is rotating out shortly.
I'd expect lots of people would play 2 and risk the long odds of winding up with two over the course of the game (pretty slim in modern especially), versus the odds of hitting one being pretty solid.
And having one is a huge value when you've got 8 fetches that can pull it. Odds of it coming out are pretty high
He is a lot of fun and generally people don't freak out about him quite as much as they do Sigarda and Uril. Plus he trolls people. How much more can you ask for

I'd say the most fun is Wort right now, with Momir Vig being the second. Doran is my goto - it's slow, steady, reliable and all around decent.
Kiki-Jiki is just stupid as a general. Any two of about 20 different cards combo, and most of the rest tutor up combos.

Well, millstone appears to have been downgraded to uncommon based on the pic in the gallery.
