I played tribal wizards for a bit. Sage's Dousing was funny as hell.
I also main boarded meddling mage and ran isochron scepter and [card]vedalken shackles[/card.

My best experience with the deck was I played turn 2 meddling mage named something game 1 round 1. He was so shocked that I knew his deck after he had played a since land and a 1 drop spell. I forget what he was playing. Then I countered a spell with sage's dousing. And he reads the card a few times before going on a short rant summed up was pretty much "what the___ is this." Anyways the judge who was walking buy goes "well this is what happens at small local tournaments you get people playing strange cards." He just looked at the judge and said "he just cryptic commanded me, for three mana." The look of bewilderment was amazing, especially after I cryptic commanded next turn then snap caster mage and flashed back sage's dousing the turn after. I killed him with my 2 drops!

I also ran commandeer in the side. Oh how tron hated me. I had one game against a tron player where I won game 1 then on game 2 he is on the play. He plays turn 2 spell skit. I play turn 2 isochron scepter and put silence on it. Turn 3 he tries to ancient grudge my scepter but does not have the right mana to flash it back that turn (He had 2 tron lands and grove) so I commandeered it killed spellskite. Then I spell snared the ancient grudge when he tried to flash it back. (I had silenced him) then I dropped meddling mage and named ancient grudge he scooped.

It was a really fun deck but crumbled to jund, and agro super hard. I may revisit the deck now that people have stopped playing jund but I don't think it stands a chance verse zoo. Combo was pretty easy due to meddling mage though

Seems interesting but very vulnerable to congregation at dawn getting countered.

A comment on drift of phantasms have you looked at running mystical teachings?

Are you splashing all the colors just for glittering wish? If so you may want to up that to a 4 of.
As for your side board I only disagree with Chromanticore the rest seems fairly good. Google some glittering wish packages for ideas
As for lands you could try Pillar of the Parunshowever the fact that this does not support the dorks makes it to weak I think.
You may want to run knight of the reliquary it is a win-con and can act as a mana dork if you need it to IE- tap forest sec forest grab land tap it.
The coiling oracle can probably be cut. He does replace himself but he is a bit long on the consistency that modern demands.

Over all seems fun. You should list the major problems and what matchups are hard. It will help us know what you need.

Condemn is fun but not as good as path namely because you can't stop some combos such as splinter twin and merila pod with condemn. I would run 4 paths main and side condemns for the agro decks like zoo. Or if you really love condemn cut swords to run 4 path 3 condemn main
Sylvan caryatid could probably be birds of paradise
Just cut the day of judgement for 4 supreme verdicts

Actually heck you can cut the verdicts and make it green/white, the blue is not doing much at all. This will make your mana base more consistent and cheaper, if you so desire.

Seems fun. I could cut arena since it can not produce lands and windbrisk heights since you don't have a huge amount of creatures. I don't think you need grand arbiter.
I advise you put in path to exile though. Also since you have fauna shamon 4 reveillark may be overkill, you can tutor for it. It almost looks like beat down bant birthing pod

  • posted a message on 5 colored deck
If you really intend to play 5 color in modern you will need lots of shocks and fetchs, it is not a cheap deck.
That being said I have always wanted to have the money/cards to play tribal flames it looks sweet
Anyways cut courser of kruphix for geist of saint traft
Side thrun, the last Troll unless you are in a very control heavy meta
Perhaps cut the lands to 22 since you only need 3 and run a 1 drop. Probably wild nacatl
So if would look like this

This may work as a deck but 5 color and BOB means that you will kill yourself at an outrageous pace so you may have to play it as an agro deck, I am not sure

You can play competitive but it will not be super angel heavy.
You should proxy if your not going to go to FNMs quite often people who play modern just want people to play with and don't mind proxies. At least my friends and I who play modern do not.
You can try a blue white agro-control deck they have a primer on it somewhere but I don't know where.

You pretty much run path to exile control magic giest of saint taft restoration angel snapcaster mage

If you really want to play angel tribal you are going to need to cut quite a few angels and use control magic/ path to exile to stay alive

4 boseiju may be overkill but looks interesting.
This deck will be slower then vengeance but no grave hate which is kinda nice. How well do you survive before you can caste through the breach or dramatic entrance? You may need to use some control magic main board not to die to agro

past in flames and ascension jumped because some pros at the last Pour tour said storm was the best deck at the moment.
I don't know why bridge went up

You defiantly could splash blue steam vents sulfer falls and shivan reefs would cover the splash, I have no idea if it would be enough to go for regular storm however, falls and reefs are like 5 each so not to terrible

phyrexian arena is your best draw spell and there is a sign in blood that costs 1b not bb but I don't know the name of it
    Side 3 Memoricide
Cut 2 Lashwrithe and 4 Distress

    Possible additions

Smallpox phrexian arena and dismember are probably the best for your deck and more inquisitions also thought-size you may be able to pick up with trading if you can go for it if not just use the inquisitions for now

I played a deck like this when I first started playing modern. It was wizard tribal but anyways...
Snap is not needed but you really do need path to exile, plus it wins some games on a specter
For some lands you can use the pain lands and the nimbus maze for budget

I am not sure if going 3 colors is worth it without a steady land base but from what you want to do perhaps you can just play white/red control here is a discussion on it http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/modern/modern-deck-creation/221767-r-w-lockdown-your-opponent-cant-play-magic-video

You could also try travis wu's mono white enchantment list. My friend was playing it and it looks really strong, he cut the tutors for something else but I don't know what.

Yes I think I did meet you, and this is not the exact list I ran I just don't have the exact list together.
And with the forest problem I had 8 fetches in the deck at GP detroit so I could fetch a forest in response often enough. Although the fetches lost me games to hate bears so I don't know what the right solution is.

Ah ha I remembered the last side board card it was pyroclasm! Love that card it made the Pod matchup easy and the tokens winnable.

I found that the 1 damage from guile won me games more often then vines did so I played guile. I already had 8 buffs that costed 2 mana so vines was actually not that great. Also most game one's I did not need to use vines on my opponents creatures since I just killed them fast enough. I found 4 simians to be excessive.

Anyways I am not playing the deck anymore I just wanted to inform everyone here to likes infect that green/red infect is possible and explosive but vulnerable.

Btw: Ghor-clan can get though spellskite since it can't redirect it

I ran a red green infect deck for a while that was super quick, I tried bringing it to the Detroit GP but ended up losing a bunch of matches to hate bears because I couldn't crack my fetches, just so you know if you don't use groundswell don't use fetches it makes you lose matches you should win.
I have stopped playing the deck but it was something like this if anyone wants to look at it.
I don't remember exactly how it went but it was pretty close to this. Simian Spirit guide made turn 2 wins pretty often.
Not being able to counter ghor-clan is insane and the trample makes Ichorclaw Myr scary. I placed top 8 at a 60 something person tournament where they gave out bobs to the top 8 players.

Why not just make it like modern twin? Combo deck with a control shell

I would not be scared off by the deck unless you plan on playing a deck that often auto loses to it and has no side board for it, like me on manaless dredge because $$

You might just want to check out your local meta and go from there. My local meta is all in on the blue plan. We got 18 people on monday in which we had one charbelcher, manaless dredge (me), dredge, monoblack, entrantress, affinity and blue decks. I think it came down to about 2/3rds blue or so. I personally had the honor of versing all 3 sneak and shows... In a ROW
My local meta pretty much consists of unfair decks, show and tell/combo/reamimator and control

Over all the deck is really expensive and I really do not think it is super popular due to that price tag. Perhaps you have a friend that can loan you a deck so you can try out your local meta?

For dragons you can use Scourge of Valkas the triggers will kill them off 3. You get 9 triggers of 3 damage each
