Well crap. Now I'm not going to have anywhere to ask rules questions or scope out cool deck lists for various formats.
In my opinion this has been the best resource for the game. Now I'm just wander around the internet trying to find a substitute. Bullocks I tell you!

Nazis in Normandy were an occupying force waging a war of aggresson and comitting human rights violations. Modern American nazis are just a**holes with their heads lodged, we should shoot them? If and when they become violent prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law sure, but to espouse idealogical violence is dangerous, extreme thinking. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
Mana has drained from your mana pool after each phase since the beginning of the game.
From the original rule book:
“Mana drawn from any source is put in your mana pool, which is simply the mana you have ready to use. Most of the time, you simply remember what mana you have in your pool, though you can write it down if you have a large series of spells being cast. Adding mana to your mana pool is always considered an interrupt. You lose all of the mana in your mana pool if you do not use it before a phase ends. The mana pool is also cleared when an attack begins and when an attack ends. You lose a life point for each mana lost in this manner. However, you cannot be deprived of a chance to use the mana in your pool. If a card provides more than one mana, you must draw the full amount into your pool when you use it.”
The idea of a set to place cards for Modern that bypasses Standard is a great idea on paper, but the implementation is weak-sauce. WOTC really needs to figure out Modern and how to add cards to that format, other than by accident. And EDH does not need any more help, they can stop making EDH staples in sets geared towards Modern. All in all, I'm under the impression that WOTC is only interested in the "cash grab" set mode for the time being.
I'm thinking no because Jodah's ability sets up an alternate cost and Morophon's just reduces the casting cost.
Same question for the "Bringers of" creatures.
After playing EC rules for a few years now my biggest gripe is 4x Strip Mines. At first I was OK with it. But it just nerfs to many fun, off beat strategies(mostly involving Tron or things like Diamond Valley).
I know with Factories and LoA people want a check. But Strips are oppressive, IMHO.
I’m lucky, I have two Time Vaults. Looking forward to put those to work.
Let the TwiddleVault loose!
Right!!!
Or to put it another way, is the card I exchanged for my opponent's ante considered part of my contribution to the ante?
I do know that if you end up with multiple cards in the ante because you cast cards like Contract from Below or Rebirth, you'll get all of them back with Jeweled Bird. I was just wondering if that held true in the scenario I stated above.
