I don't think this was a filler story. It's another piece of a much larger puzzle than we're thinking of. This girl got mind-controlled. Avacyn also probably got mind-controlled. You've got to look at the bigger picture. I'm not saying that the Gitgud Toad is mind-controlling Avacyn, but we should look at at the things in Innistrad Block and Shadows that point to mind-control.
Soon we'll get "Announcing Conspiracy: Full Throne". It will have 222 cards including a single dad who lives with his children and brother and his brother's girlfriend and their children.
See, if WotC wanted to make things interesting, they should have Jace mind wipe all the evil out of Lili. Then Lili could join the Watch without the obvious "why?" as well as give Jace some depth. (Fun question: what color would brainwashing Lili be? I would argue white, even if it's evil.)
That depends on the reason he does it. If he does it because otherwise Lili might kill a bunch of people it's White. If he does it because he thinks she'll be better for it then it's Blue. If he does it because he wants to go back to when they were a couple then it's Black. I can't really think of a reason Red or Green would do it. One could argue that the love aspect is red but I think it's primarily a selfish sort of thing and goes against Red's primary goal. Green, in spite of her usurping of the natural order of life and death would just leave her be. She is that way because that's the way she is.
Red would be doing it because he can. Green would be doing it because the balance of the world is upset.
I could see the werewolves who didn't want the change killing the ones who accepted it and became wolfir. That said, I want both a legendary wolfir and a legendary werewolf. Preferably in different sets out of the two to show the drastic differences in mechanics and flavour.
Anyone think that maybe Gideon's just dead and that the artworks of him we see are actually just illusions created by Jace?
Or maybe, just maybe, the Gideon the Ob fought was an illusion created by Jace? Then, when he finally realizes it's a fake, Ob flips him over to dispel the illusion.
We can die if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
'Cause if your friends don't die and if they don't die
Well, they're no friends of mine
Here you go.
Speaking of which, anyone have a link to the fanfic of Jace buying a chair? Or did I dream it up?
Red would be doing it because he can. Green would be doing it because the balance of the world is upset.
