I want to start off by saying thanks to almost everyone on this thread for the excellent indepth and though provoking discussion. It has given me loads to think about and a solid starting point for what I though would just be a janky glass cannon of a deck.
I guess as an outside looking in the whole Arcane package seems inconsistent and forced by being in mono red due to lack of tutoring and card card. How often does it actually "go off" ? Is just from the mass card draw of many copies of Crimson Wisps type cards?
Does Bitterblossom seem win-more to you guys who play it? I was always under the notion it made matchups like Zoo, Burn, Tron, and Merfolk even worse and was great at providing a clock to everything else. Explain for my simple mind please?
I think Bitterblossom just makes out good matchups like Jund better while our worse matchups like Tron or Bloom Titan worse. They don't care about a really good midrange card if they've combed off.
Tri-color certainly has some options; the best I've seen being blue for Snappy, green for Gavony Township, and red for Bolt.
Where do you guys stand on the new Grixis Twin, Grixis Delver, and CoCo lists running amuck. Twin doesn't seem wildly different, Delver is manageable but be wear of an early Gurmag Angler, and CoCo just seems like fighting an uphill battle while they out class a deck based on 1 for 1 trades.
I agree completely, but is where the deck wants to go forward? It certainly looks the best splash to make out of all the colors. I think finding room for a basic island inplace of a Godless Shrine for Blood Moon is a good idea.
The thing I think to talk about is Esper token, is it better or worse? Snappy makes most spells even better like Path or Discard and isn't that bad of a top deck.
What would you guys think of Butcher of the Horde? Can stand toe to toe with almost every creature in modern, gets damage in with flying, passes the Bolt and Decay tests, and has wonderful versatility.

Round 1 - Naya Zoo
G1 - Simply missed land drops with Souls and Processions in hand while he beat me to death.
+2 Timely Reinforcements
+2 Kor Firewalker
-4 Thoughtseize
G2 - Beat down to 3, stabilized with Sorin, board wiped with lethal, killed next turn with Rampager
Round 2 - Scapeshift - 0:1
G1 - Opponent was dead on lands with I double Inquisitioned into Souls -> Sorin -> Anthem for lethal.
+2 Duress
+2 Timely Reinforcements
-2 Zealous Persecution
-2 Honor of the Pure
G2 - Duress revealed 3x Sakura-Tribe Elders and no interaction, Raise the Alarm -> Lingering Souls -> Double Anthem was lethal.
Round 3 - Naya Burn - 1:1
G1 - Quickly burned to death while I was stuck with three lands including Vault and only Processions in hand.
+2 Duress
+2 Kor Firewalker

G2 - Triple Path kept him off creatures while I tried to use Timely Reinforcements to meet a swift Atarka's Command for lethal.
Round 4 - Lantern Control - 1:2
G1 - Lantern of Insight into double Codex Shredder proved for the most miserable experience so far, eventually conceded.
+2 Sundering Growth
_2 Stony Silence
+2 Duress
-2 Auriok Champion
-2 Zealous Persecution
-2 Dismember
G2 - Taking away his Lantern with Duress then typical beatdown plan.
G3 - Managed to get early pressure with Raise the Alarm and anthem while I got Stony Silence and Sundering Growth.
Round 5 - Jund - 2:2
G1 - Mull to five with a prompt Thoughtseize taking away my Path proved to be good enough while Goyf beat my face in.
+2 Rest in Peace
+1 Relic of Progenitus
+1 Dismember
+2 Timely Reinforcements
-4 Thoughtseize
-2 Inquisition of Kozilek
G2 - Path'd any threat he play while beat down with Procession and anthem.
G3 - An early RiP kept him off Goyf and Ooze, but he beat and burned me down to three until 2x Raise the Alarm and Procession chipped my back slowly.
Round 6 - ??? - 3:2
Draw as we wanted dinner, no chance of top 8.
3:2:1 Overall
-Going forward fast aggro decks like Zoo and Burn seem to be a huge issue I didn't address as well.
-I didn't prep as much for fringe decks as much as I should have.
-Overall good experience, just need more practice and testing.

This is my plan as of yet, I could use some advice before some playtesting.
