1)Is there a way to tweak this for the budget-oriented? 4 Mox Opal is a bit of a blow to the bank.
2)Doesn't this deck autolose if you run out of equipment in your draws?

x: Put a creature from your hand into play, where X is that creature's converted mana cost minus 2. X can't be 0. At the beginning of your end step, sacrifice that creature. You lose 3 life.
Creatures you control have Haste
Is flashback blue enough?
Devoted Prayer It's a bit hard to evaluate on its own, considering the blessing-centered ability.
Do you mean to say: At the beginning of your upkeep, move a loyalty counter from ~ to target planeswalker you control? Otherwise you just have a pile of counters on a card that doesn't use them.
6/10, because of wording and a little iffy premise.
Create a new deck? I don't have any suggestions, but I'm sure you can find another control commander. Perhaps a less combo-y Arcum Dagsson deck if you like control?
I'm not sure if you'd want to run him with how expensive he is, but Colossus of Akros actually retains Defender after he goes monstrous, and would lend to your subtheme. Also, if you're willing to go above 3 mana, Indestructibility makes Sigarda even more difficult to remove.
Indestrucibility isn't that great of a card. I already have tons of other protectors, and Indestructibility is overcosted.
Akros would be nice, although I'm worried that it won't have any use other than late game, when I already have most of my defenses up.
i also agree with esoteric in the choice of dueling grounds it helps stop swarm decks and allows you to keep others from killing Sigarda with multiple blockers
Thanks for the primer, It helped me a lot when constructing this deck.
Yeah, more card draw is something I need. I didn't realize that there were other enchantress effects.
This is a part voltron, part rattlesnake deck utilizing Sigarda, Host of Herons" target="blank">Sigarda, Host of Herons to build up a formidable defense using low-cost defenders, then taking out enemies using commander damage and auras.
However, a lich is a special type of undead being who seals their soul inside a physical object, their phylactery, which ensures that they can never be permanently destroyed as long as their phylactery remains intact. Therefore, I wonder, if a planeswalker chose to seal their soul in a phylactery and become a lich (likely to gain power and immortality) would they still be a planeswalker, since their soul, and spark, would not be lost, dissipated, or destroyed, but left intact, sealed within their phylactery? What does everyone else say about that?
What if only the phylactery could planeswalk?
A teapot planeswalker could be interesting.
Seriously, I don't think that the Lich could planeswalk. See Karn.
This deck seems to wreck against combo-how does it do vs. faster decks/decks that don't rely against any 1 card?

Side note: You could probably tweak this to make it over budget by about 10 bucks and still competitive.

Torpor Orb/Trickbind effects don't work because Ghave enters the battlefield with them-the ability isn't triggerd.

Spirit Mantle is probably better. Thanks.
