All these kind of sets sell for about that in the store. I don't know what they are selling for on the open market right now. Sometimes they go cheaper sometimes more expensive.
I am wondering if maybe PayPal flagged this activity thinking someone might have hacked into your account? I would contact them to make sure they know you are the one doing this. Also to make sure you have funds. Then also talk to the MTGO people about it.
The other option might be where did you get the packs from? Were they a reliable seller or some individual who might of had their account hacked?
As someone who has hundreds invested in MTGO... I'm ok with it being destroyed. It needs to be gutted. It is abysmal and helps no one.
I would gladly throw my entire MTGO collection in the trash if it meant getting a better platform.
Are you willing to reimburse people who have thousands invested? The stores who could possibly have 10s and 100s of thousands invested as well as their way of life?
What I would love to see is a MTGO platform that give you access to all cards ever printed. The only thing you have to pay for is a monthly subscription and/or tournament entry fee.
MTGO is terrible to stream. And having to fork out tons of money for a deck means less people streaming.
Maybe if they were starting from scratch today they would do things differently. To just trash MTGO with all the money and time people have put into collections would probably kill the majority of their established player base. I know it would tick me off and I am sure there are people out there with much better collections than me who are more involved in it. Also it would destroy the online card dealers who help sponsor websites and streamers dedicated to MTG.
They need to do something but destroying the value of collections is not one of them. If they destroy that value they better be ready to start handing out money.
Looks like there was something that was talked about it in a stock holders meeting or something with hasbro in November of 2015. Then some talk about it about 5 months later. That is all I can find. Mostly just people speculating that it is going to combine MTGO and Duels and bring them into a better program or to make magic more able to be an e-sport. Though all of that is just speculation. I do not see anything recent but I have also given up on checking the magic website.
Same here! And its already october. R U kidding me? Are they doing nothing to fix this? All the ORC could tell me was that it is a well known issue. Really? They knew for almost a year now and they didn't fix it? What am I paying for?
There was an article from Jon Loucks about when he first got into the magic online quality that talked about a card he found right away that was bugged and the bug was closed or something with comments along the lines that it is not a popular enough card for them to fix. Kind of tells you all you need to know.
I have maintained some wish lists in deck form. I haven't really played much lately, but I have noticed that ever since the new client came out sometimes when I make changes to those "wish lists" the changes don't stick. They are for pauper and the changes are when I remove cards. I don't know if that is related to your problems or not.
I would look at some established decks. Maybe watch someone play through them. Then figure out which deck you want to dive into. Is there any format you are looking to get into in particular? If price is an issue I would look into pauper.
If I had to guess they will do some cube packs with them in it at some point. From my understanding there are some vintage and/or legacy cards in the previous one that still did not make it into the system yet so don't hold your breath on everything if we even get anything.
I think we are also still waiting on alternative art cards from other supplemental sets that they no longer put on but promised to put in when they stopped selling those.
Has anyone else noticed that MTGO is playing/reacting slower for about the last month or so? I mean everything from loading to changing tabs to in game button pushes. Even exiting the program seems to take longer. I know it's not my internet because I can pull up my web browser and it is just as fast a normal.
I have not played since Eternal Masters or whatever the last masters was. May play for the M11 or Scars flash backs coming up so I will try and keep an eye on it.
There was a website that had a search for cards not in MTGO. I forget what it was but I think it was posted on here. I did have it up at one point but eventually figured they were not going to put them in the program so stopped having a link to it in my browser.
That is what I am thinking. She is an assassin and doesn't mind "killing" but her having the nobel face his mother defiant had a white streak. Plus WB is the colors of spirits and she seems to be our spirit walker in the same way Liliana is the zombie walker or Serra was the angel walker.
So Liliana creates and controls zombies. Serra I am not sure of but I would assume that she is similar in creating and possibly controlling angels? Kaya does not create nor control ghosts. So this parallel seems very out of place. She actually hunts and destroys them. Also her powers do not seem to interact with the ghosts, she appears to need her daggers to do that? Maybe she was using them as a focal point but it seemed more like using an artifact that interacts with the ghosts and ghost realm.
I am not sure which way I would go on her colors yet. Can see any of them in her. Probably right now leaning toward BG. The B for sort of the rogue for hire aspect. The G in that she is hunting some unnatural which are the spirits.
