Brainstorm has never seen the play it sees now before mana bases became 8 or 12 fetches plus some duals. Hell it is strictly worse than preordain in a vacuum.
Bolt, is the best common in a vacuum. Probably just better all over the place.
Dark Ritual gets second, because with something to do with that extra mana, you just win games.
PFT. I was playing Gruul Monster in the "Sphinx Rev" Meta. I lost 2 games to sphinx rev decks. Its all about sideboarding.
Note I said 2 games. Not a match.
Seriously... Don't see how Sphinx Rev decks were considered unbeatable. Ramping into a turn 4 Mistcutter for x=4 forces the verdict. Meanwhile I am over holding regenerates or indestructible effects.
Golgari Charm did so much work against those decks.

And freaking Ruric Thar RG/X Monsters was the anti- Azorius (Esper) Control deck.
It also happened to have good matchups against RDW, WW, and most of the fringe decks. Even odds against Mono B Devo, and good sideboard tech of Mono U Devo.
I am still convinced that Mono U was only good in metas with a lot of RDW / Gruul Aggro.
Boros Burn also had favourable matchups against a lot of the Main decks, it was just harder to pilot for the average standard player. But I played that as well and had one player about ready to flip a table on me after I shunted both first games (played him in swiss and play offs) because he had "such an easy time of it in the first games" but got locked out of the post board games solidly.
Main thing I had problems with (Boros Burn) was freaking Mono B. But towards the end it was on decline. Had gotten so used to beating esper control it wasn't much challenge at that point.
Pretty sure this was already posted, and it had the wording for the creature side wrong. Pretty fake. Also if you blow this one up, the copyright date appears to be 2013...
I use legion deck boxes. They fit 75+ double sleeved cards. Dunno if it will fit a double sleeved commander deck. But it will fit my Single sleeved burn deck, and my 30 or so rotational cards. Legion Deck Box
I know the bigger ultra pro "Pro Tower" will fit a double sleeved commander deck. Pro tower link
Ultra pro double deck boxes may work too. Duel Deck Box
There are several level 2s about 2 hours south of here, In fact my wife used to date one of them, and no doubt she could get him to certify me, if we lived 2 hours south of here and I was willing to to join the racket they have going on demanding 2 boxes of of KTK, preferably in Russian or Korean, with free entry into the event, and other compensation depending on length/players in the event.
Probably going to have to drive 3-4 hours north to find a good judge to certify me.
I never understand EDH Players. You guys invent a format for casuals, then spend 10x the amount a standard deck costs foiling out every single card, or having alters done, or getting the one with the right art... Then you go on to theorycraft which EDH decks are top tier?
Time for a new casual format I guess.
Anyone for Mono Color, Pauper, 200 card singleton?
Ajanni's Ultimate is so bad. It does nothing to help you win the game. Whooo 100 life. So what. I guess it would work as a win con in a control deck with elixir of immortality. Still not a win con.
I got two now.
Strictly better than Brainstorm IMO.

Hell the owner on my LGS is the biggest a-hole I've met in a long time. But he sells product at msrp.
He also opens product to sell singles... but he does have 40 boxes of MM for msrp. Sadly I can only budget enough cash for at this time.
No one wants that. No one even wants it in draft. I would add more basic lands or risk playing with 39 cards before I'd use that.
And Remand, Vapor Snag, Gitaxian Probe, I can think of more.
Limited Players, ruining it for constructed players since 1993....

Otherwise, in the past? Print them out on clear stick paper and diy.
