Since I am splashing red, there is probably a slot in the sideboard for Seismic Rupture for all those Fodder, Raise the Alarm, Outburst, Seeker, Grandmaster, Rabblemaster, Mastery of the Unseen decks out there.
At least in my meta. And the card is not expected so blowout is in order.
Could Run Anger too would get rid of Caryatid and other x/3s for good. But then you run into having untapped RR by turn 3. However If you were to play Hoplite turn 1, ordeal t2 and swing your could save your own guy still.
I like to side early acceleration for removal and wipes. Boon satyr acts as a 3 mana kill spell for Rabble Master, and Can be used to suit up a Caryatid, or Courser for effective blocks. I use a similar tactic for Jeskai decks and R/W Tokens. Except I also bring in reclamation sage to deal with their enchantments.
Not much I really Can board in here. But I try to get rid of dead cards. Need some better sideboard tech for them.

Looking for any sideboarding advice against Esper Dragons and Abzan. I can manage most RDW and Jeskai style decks with little or no sideboarding. Esper Dragon's is my hardest matchup. Abzan feels like a 50/50 in my local meta.
I've played 61 cards from time to time. Never more than that. Only do that when it is very hard to hit the right balance between 2 cards (usually cards in the 3 drop slot for some reason).
Most recently it was the fact that last standard I was running 4 courser of kruphix and 3 boon satyr instead of a 3/3 split or 4/2 split.
Thats not the Modern Frame. At least, its the post-modern, or neo Modern frame. But it sure ain't the modern frame (8th edition frame).
Anyways if black border is important for Aesthetic purposes. You can always alter white border cards. It took me a good while but I mixed some paint specifically for that purpose. I have a lot of white border modern frame cards that I wanted to use. So I painted the border black.
Now it feels like I am gonna have to start trading stuff around to get my decks in the New Card Frame.
Alright, I am relatively new at painting and altering and the first couple times I tried to do border extensions and I could never seem to get the hang of it, especially with matching the colors. I always end up painting over the cards art just to make the card a different color so it will match my extensions.
I just recently did a border extension for End Hostilities and was wondering if I could get some criticism on altering or general painting tips.
Low res pic but, I would say use some wet tooth picks to clean up the boarders the text boxes. Use a bit more water to thin out your paint. Try and build the color up not just plop it down all at once.
I wonder who scripted that opening sequence because it makes absolutely no sense.
Yeah that bugged me too. Obviously someone who didn't know much about mtg. Other than you put cards on a table, turn them sideways, then the other guy picks up a card and does things.

3-5 years? Wow. That's what you get for armed robbery/attempted manslaughter here. Poor guy probably can't even better his life anymore since 3-5 years of criminal influence and buttraping (he's a magic player) in prison will take him out for life probably.
You know he probably got maybe 6 months in Jail, the rest suspended right?. Newspaper doesn't put that out. It just says "3-5 years". Anyhow. The guy deserved it. Its not like he was in a hard spot and just stole the one time. People were always accusing him of stealing. Never could catch him on camera, he would come in at random times and spend large amounts of cash so we didn't ban just on accusations. But I have a sneaking suspicion he was a professional thief. He never had a regular job, yet always had large amounts of cash to spend.
Honestly thinking of taking an AIR build with a transformative (rabblemaster red)sideboard and seeing if I can steal the win a box fnm this week. Meta seems soft to kill someone by turn 4 style red.
We had this guy named john. Always got the right card for the right moment. Gets caught pulling cards out from under his leg. He is banned from the store. Couple weeks later he is at another store selling "his" collection. We had phoned that store letting them know about a stolen collection.
This guy was trying to pawn off this hand made dice chain mail dice bag as his own. Only one person could have rightfully owned said bag.

Ajanni's Ultimate is so bad. It does nothing to help you win the game. Whooo 100 life. So what. I guess it would work as a win con in a control deck with elixir of immortality. Still not a win con.

That is a dumb question. Red is the best color.
