Hmmm, In addition to MaRo's description of white romance, I think something about security should be in there. Security and protection is a very white value, and would be put in with a marriage for financial stability, ect.
Basically Dark Petition lets you find and cast Tainted Remedy. You can also use it to find Beacon. With the handhate and spot removal it should be easy enough to get spell mastery. Whip of Erebos lets you grind them down with Alms Beast or just raise dead Walls as blockers to find time. I figured with Whip as well if you have 6 mana you can find and cast it with Dark Petition or find something else and drop it if it's in your hand. Same goes with Damnation or Alms Beast.
Hah, when I built this deck i didn't even think about Dark Petition. Either way, here's my list.
How to protect Tainted Remedy? Needs removal from the table and from hands. And needs alternative win condition, if we lost Tainted Remedy
For protection, uhh, best I can think is Mana Tithe, Lapse of Certainty, Sin Collector, and the normal discard package? And as for alt wincons, the alt winton is Alms Beast. Really cool Idea, hope it pans out well, even if it winds up being pure junk.
So I was brewing a modern deck today, and came up with a question. If I have a Saffi Eriksdotter in play, and one in hand, and I play one, can I then respond to the etb sacrifice from the legend rule by sacrificing Saffi to return the other saffi, then keep doing that forever by stacking triggers?
No. There are no triggers in your scenario. The Legend Rule does not create a trigger. It is just something that happens and it happens when State Based Actions are checked before a player receives priority. So, if Saffi is on the board and you cast another one, you will need to put one in the graveyard before you can activate the ability on either one.
Also, you don't sacrifice due to the Legend rule. You just pick one and put it into the graveyard.
Ok, just making sure i couldn't keep returning Saffis. Alright, thanks!

Lude's boots land on the dusty ground, his scratches burning against his skin. He fell to the ground in agony, exhausted after several days on the run.
"Yeesh," Lude whispered under his breath, "They really don't like being scammed on Shandalar."
He reached into his pocket, rubbing against the coins in his pocket. He smiled. "Well," he thought, "at least they can't get this back."
He stood up and brushed himself off, adjusting his luxurious coat and squinting as he took in his surroundings.

Trying to perform a better iteration for runic, currently trying
You may pay this card's runic cost and exile it from your hand. If you do, you may return target instant or sorcery car from your graveyard with converted mana cost equal to or less than this card's converted mana cost to your hand.
Interesting idea of returning spells, a bit concerned about repetitive gameplay.
Also tossing this idea around for a planeswalker, as a story based one mainly

Going for the idea of a deceitful salesman planes walker, what do you guys think?
My favorite card is Wrath of God. I have been a white control mage since I started playing the game, and this card used to help me compete with my friends' token/aggro decks.
