My 5-0 didn't show up on MTGGoldfish, so thats odd. I notice they only post 8 a day, any reason for that? Well, about the deck, I feel like Ive gotten some really good reps in, and this deck is a legit house. Beat tron today to 4-1 by landing a stony silence. Played the mirror against the B version, and souls is actually not very good here. What ends up being VERY useful again is stony as they are typically on the spellbomb/claw/relic plan post board. The most underwhelming cards in the deck are definitely the maps. I actually don't think they are at all what we are trying to do. Map helps you ramp consistently, but more often than not, I found myself mapping for a shambling vents or a GC based on the matchup. If thats what Im doing, I really think there are better things to be doing in those slots. At our core, we are a fish deck. We disrupt the opponent with value creatures that can go up over midrange without being too slow to have game vs aggro. Some thoughts on the list, as I have been net decking to this point and am just now beginning to tinker. All is dust belongs in the 75 as a 1-2 of. Maybe a 1/1 split of all is dust/damnation. 4/4/4 Strangler/Herder/Sower feels very wrong, especially with the host of ramp and removal we play. The absolute best card in the deck is Herder, and I think it isn't even close. 4/5 that goes wide and ramps. It literally has game against every matchup (except dedicated combo). Im going to be trying a 3/4/3 split of these guys soon maybe adding in an endless one and the guy that lets you search out ulamog as Im often just casting my stranglers into an empty board and wishing it was an endless one. I think the board should also play to our fatty strat, and Ill be trying out the life gain dude over one of my rests. Other cards that seem relatively lack luster are the disenchants. Necessary evil, I suppose, but path tends to be plenty good vs affinity. Anyways, Ill keep brewing and tuning and come back with some thoughts as I get them.

Wizards doesn't release all the league results. MTggoldfish just posts what's available. Two a day I think.

Anyone else having problems actually getting people to play full matches? I've been trying to get some testing in within the tournament practice room and people are dropping when either a) they realize what I'm playing; b) I win game one; or c) I ramp a Sower out on turn three (haha). It's just frustrating because I rarely get to practice sideboarding.

Just 4-0d tonight at my local store. I had decided to give my monoblack version another try. Honestly i've had a lot more success with it than with a splash. The mana is just super reliable. I'm also like 4x endless ones. They allow us to take the role of aggro early or just throwing a roadblock in front of aggro decks. They are decent at any phase of the game.

I beat u/r twin, u/w/r twin, infect and burn. This deck just seems very good vs twin, and i'm not sure i quite understand why yet. I liked 4x dismember a lot, too many creature combo decks these days. Stranglers were all star tonight. Killing infect creatures while the opponent is holding useless apostle's blessings was sweet. I also lived the dream of processing a suspended rift bolt with strangler, killing a monastery swiftspear, it felt super good. Otherwise burn seems like a difficult, i think i've been lucky with my opponent bricking on a few crucial draw steps.

I like your list too. Early on in testing I was very unimpressed with Spellbomb. You still like it? I seemed to keep drawing it early and it just sat there doing nothing.

Any consideration for a split between Dismember and Hero's Downfall, or is the cheaper phyrexian cost too valuable? I currently run one Downfall in the board to deal with walker heavy decks.

Also, has anyone found a good answer to Blood Moon? It's certainly beatable, but makes it a real grind.

Yeah, agree Complex. I just threw the deck together over the weekend and haven't got around to buying some Inquisitions. My main point was running two Trangress as part of the discard package since they exile.

As some have previously discussed, I was finding Wasteland Strangler to be underwhelming due to either a matchup where no cards were going to the yard or not getting a Relic early enough. I have found maindeck Ghost Quarters and two Transgress the Mind have helped with getting at least one card exiled early. Turn two Transgress, turn 3 Strangler usually works out pretty well except against grixis control, where they may be able to use the card returned from exile. I currently run two each of Duress, Thoughtseize, and Transgress in the main. I'm currently running mono black.

I don't think we can rule anyone out from the block, since it involves time travel.
