Use your Sol Lands give the deck a slight edge. You want to accelerate into Seething Song and fire it off into one of your big guys. Bolt and Anger provide some reactivity.
This is a deck of mine from the late 90's early 00'S. I Masques/Invasion Standard. It was good for my local Pokémon League. Spiritmonger can be substituted for Phyrexian Negator or Phyrexian Scuta, both of which were considered good back when. If Spiritmonger is a tad too competitive for your evenings, Shivan Wurm is also a flavorful substitution, as Darigaaz is the primeval dragonlord of Shiv. The wurm also somewhat synergizes with Flametongue Kavu...and can let you reuse Blastoderm.
Of course. It's up to the reader at the end of the day. I figure that if a book engaged its target audience on that level, it merits a test run.
Yes, Quest is bad. As for In the Teeth of Akoum, I saw a post elsewhere about how the novel is about Sorin's trolling adventures. Still, I wouldn't recommend it.
Chainer's Torment works well enough as a beginning and end to the Mirari saga. If you're into comics, try finding the Shadowmage/Wayfarer series. If you want to test your love of Scott's work, try the Time Spiral Cycle. Finally, one of the better written pieces to come out of Wizards MtG lineup in recent years would be Stover's Test of Metal.
Its not totally casual. I've just asking help in the casual forums because if I post it in Modern or something similar to it, people would assume that it's not going to work if trying make a Jund without a Bob or Tarmogoyf. But I want to make it a "competitive" deck without $100 Cards Such as Dark Confident or Tarmogoyf, which I found absurd to pay in a card.
I like the these three colors, especially what they do.
I don't have a copy of the card, but the Portal/M10 Earthquakefeatures some green critters falling into a crevice. I can't tell exactly what they are. At first I thought they were goblins, but on closer inspection I don't see the distinctive ears. Are they Mogg goblins? The shape of the shoulders/head and somewhat bullish necks bring to mind the Moggs.
Meta dependent, as is the case with most decks. Wildfire is neat. I think there's already a thread for a Wildfire deck that you can use. Maybe mash some lists together or something. If you're splashing for green, what about Burning-Tree Shamanor Hound of Griselbrand?
Terrible suggestions. This format is choked with efficient removal spells. The only way to maximize WIldfire is to play a control, creatureless deck, or with creatures that you don't care dying because tey have already provided value (Solemn Simulacrum).

I've changed my artifacts up a bit. Good point on Dragon Mage. All of the singleton dragons are there for Zirilan's effect. So I'm evoking the Scourge, Tyrant, Hellkites, and Kilnmouth via Zirilan's 1RR ability. Dragonspeaker Shaman is in flavor, but it dies to my sweepers and Lightning Greaves takes up space needed for field control. I don't expect to swarm the field with too many dragons. Mostly just throwing out really strong ones via Zirilan backed up by Thundermaw/Stormbreath. With Zirilan, Utvara Hellkite is a 6/6 for 1RR.

If you want to play a 6CC threat, look at some of the old Standard Jund decks from 09-10. They ran Broodmate Dragon at the top end.
Is this in reference to Wildfire exclusively? What about Burning-Tree Shaman over Boros Reckoner since the minotaur is mediocre? Snow-Covered Forest. There's also Lord of Shatterskull Pass. All you need do is level it once.
