greenminid posted a message on [Primer] Cruel Control with Ultimatum (8/2011 - 3/2016)So far it has helped when I'm in top deck mode. I never lied alchemy, it seems to never like me as well. Like when I flip over the spell I need and 3 lands I wanted as well.Posted in: Modern Archives - Established

greenminid posted a message on [Primer]LandsThank you I was lookking for alternatives, o-stone has helped me more than ee so far, even if ee costs less mana in the long run. cursed totem looks like it should be in lists anyway as a silver bullet. It seems better than pfing a bunch of creatures that will kill you with abilities. Though pf does have the upside and of being able to slowly kill. I'll keep trying for groves though.Posted in: Control

greenminid posted a message on [Primer]LandsI get that it's a powerhouse. But it's an availability issue. Grove I can understand if your running a pf variant. The old lists didn't though.Posted in: Control

greenminid posted a message on [Primer] Cruel Control with Ultimatum (8/2011 - 3/2016)If they run teachings then it is a tutorable sweeper. If not it's an instant instead of a sorcery for draw go style decks.Posted in: Modern Archives - Established

greenminid posted a message on [Primer] Cruel Control with Ultimatum (8/2011 - 3/2016)Imnot worriedd about it. I had those actually. Spellskite came in handy especially when he killed the batterskull token. I was just saying that I didn't think it was that far in their favor.Posted in: Modern Archives - Established

greenminid posted a message on [Primer] Cruel Control with Ultimatum (8/2011 - 3/2016)So I played 15 games against burn. Damn I knew that mathup was bad, but holy crap. I only won 4 games and 3 were due to batterskull. Once it resolved he didn't have a good out besides double bolting the token. Damn deck played a crapton of haste creatures as well.Posted in: Modern Archives - Established

greenminid posted a message on [Primer] Cruel Control with Ultimatum (8/2011 - 3/2016)There already in in place of those. But Ty. I noticed you removed the trinket mage part from the op. Any advice on how many and what artifacts are best with it?Posted in: Modern Archives - Established

greenminid posted a message on [Primer] Cruel Control with Ultimatum (8/2011 - 3/2016)Its probably easier due to the fact no-one n my area has cryptics for sale or trade as well. I can't get any of them so I don't have to worry about casting it on turn 4. Vendillion does wonders though.Posted in: Modern Archives - Established
