Personally i would prefer a token per pack, but I am one of the few who have uses for the ad card. I have a 1 1/2 year old and 3 year old...they love my cards...now i have something to feed them other than my zendikar full-art lands (still a bit upset about that one).
I don't believe White will be Serra just based on the fact that the new Field Marshal is an angel. It said originally they were going to use Ajani as the walker and if you look at the designer for the white deck, it says he loves cat tribal. Not sure if there is another White Cat PW other than Ajani, but anyone know of any legendary creatures that might be made for the deck?
Recently I sold some cards to a couple different online dealers and came across an issue. One of the companies was supposed to give me store credit for my cards worth $34.38 (I know, really breaking the bank here, but every little bit helps). When the transaction finally goes through i see there is 68.76 as my credit. i did the math quick and realized they must have posted the credit twice. I double checked with my email and sure enough i had two emails back to back posting that amount into my credit. So I quick sent an email to the company letting them know they overpaid me, then went back to the website and purchased the cards I was planning on buying with the credit. the total came out to be just over 35 bucks but I just used the 34.38 that I should and used paypal to finish off the order and thought I was good to go.
The next day I see an email from the company and they said thanks for letting them know, there was apparenlty a glitch that gave me the double credit, but (here's the kicker) they said "I can see now your credit shows the right amount so everything's back to normal."
Clearly someone at the company able to see my current credit amount would also be able to see that i just used that exact same amount of credit to make a purchase. Do i need to follow up with them again? Insist they still take the credit back because I already spent what I should have? Is this a subtle *nudge, wink* that it's their mistake, thanks for letting us know, but we are good here, go ahead and use it. I already told them they over paid me, am I morally obliged to ensure they understand their mistake? take them through step by step?
At this point, i haven't done anything further. It's been 2 days and I still have the 34.38 available as store credit, not sure what to do
It does seem really odd that the white walker isn't reveled. I have a hard time believing they would use a planeswalker that is as yet unknown. Though it's not unlike WotC to completely do something unexpected and make it a brand new walker, it would have to have some strong ties with others to be the representation of white for the board game.
But it seems like all these walkers should be known and recognizable to even casual players. I don't think they're quite ready to bring Elspeth back, maybe something happens to Gideon or Ajani...something changes them in some way, maybe they get deformed from some battle or something, and they don't want that aspect to be reveled.
I've posted my dislike for the antagonist of DotP 2014 before, but somehow he keeps coming up. Recently saw the picture of him again and this came to mind. KTK is the wedge set, and Ramaz was a RUG deck. And honestly, his picture looks like it could be from the Temur clan. i mean, he really looks like he would fit right in. I re-checked what is known about him and there are tied to Zendikar and Eldrazi. Makes me wonder if he really will see card form this block. I don't know if he would be in all 3 his colors, but Ajani never is so why should he.
Honestly RTR was a resurgence into Magic for me. I have been playing Magic for many years off and on, but it was late into innistrad that i started wanting to get back into MTG. Then I saw RTR spoilers and I was once again hooked. It is the first set that I ever got a complete set for and had a lot of great cards that started pushing me into commander games also. overall, great set. Glad to move on as all good things must end, but it was enjoyable while it was available.
My first experience with the amazing series of RPGs, Final Fantasy, was 16 or 17 years ago when I received a copy of FF7. I haven't played them in years but did go on to play (and finish) FF1-10, 12, tactics, tactics advance, and Tactics A2 (the first tactics is by far my fav and I still have an orginal PS copy [not the release one] and the PSP version). But my first experience with any rpg, which led to my love of the whole fantasy genre, was released 24 years ago...Dragon Warrior IV.
I didn't see this anywhere else, but just wanted to throw it out there, I just downloaded Duels 15 on my Xbox. I thought it wouldn't be up til Friday, but I guess they started early. Happy Gaming!
I love Planeswalkers and Nissa was my first and favorite. Although narrow to elf decks, I was so happy when I got my first walker I didn't care. and she still sees use in my edh elf deck.
I really hope this is a hint for a reprint.
