I keep seeing people making the mistake of saying 'you don't want three open in case you want to copy your opponent's spell.' This is true, but in these decks you leave 3 open for the possibility of copying your opponent's spell. What I mean by this, is that he shouldn't be the only option. Maybe you have him and a snapcaster, or him and a counter. Then you leave mana open and when you're opponent casts a spell, you have the option of either copying it, countering it, or responding with another card such as snappy. I can see him being a 2-3 of in some decks, or even in the sideboard. I would imagine he'd be good in some mirror matches.

I don't know about the wedge mechanics, but I think we'll see some more interesting morph costs that align with each wedge ideologies. For example, you morph a creature when you draw 3 cards (cunning), or deal X damage, etc.

One of the wedge mechanics is a returning mechanic. Provoke maybe?

I'm currently working on a RUg madnessish brew. Faithless Looting, Breakthrough, Dack Fayden combined with Basking Rootwalla, Vengvine, Bridge from Below, Reckless Abandon and Hellspark Elemental with a couple Fiery Tempers. If you Breakthrough and have 2 rootwallas and a vengevine, they all come into play. Still in development.

That zombie enchantment is a really nice boost to modern dredge. You can discard shambling shell, get a zombie, then dredge off the draw. Rinse and repeat.

Also I wish they'd still away from these type of walkers which do everything with no downside. Least he doesn't seem broken.

The best time to pick them up may be when they rotate out. It's been a 4-of in quite a few standard decks, so there's going to be a huge influx of them when the standard players trade them away.
