The punishment of doing stuff like this is so low alot of people are willing to risk it. Like playing 5 of a card and drawing extra from brainstorm.

I would play read the bone or some sort of serious dig. This is essentially a combo deck that plays enough walls then drops Phenax for a 2 turn clock. I'd almost consider diabolical tutor. Abberation I'm against, it's too cute. So is lazav and nighthowler. I'd throw thoughseize to the side and throw in more walls and possible aetherize.

New release video games are $100+ over there. Herp.

Wow is this the most backward post I've seen in quite some time. Number of Shamans in the top 16 of the last Modern GP: 24 (16 in the top 8); number of Affinity decks: 0.

Prior GP Top 16 - Shamans 23 (6 decks); Affinity 3 decks; 1 each in top 8

Prior GP Top 8 (didn't look at top 16) - DRS decks 3; Affinity 2

Prior GP Top 8 - DRS decks 7; Affinity 1

So care to try your argument again about T8s?

What is a DRS deck? You want to post the DRS.dec deck list? Fact is DRS enabled a lot of different decks, which is GOOD for the format because it adds variety. IF it was 8 Jund and 1 Affinity, you might have a point, because that would be 1 deck warping the format. But it's not, so you have no point.

Yeah, me with my silly non-aggro decks, when I do quite well in most constructed tournaments. I guess this era of aggro is really being oppressive on the format. People were pissed when Nacatal got banned and now people are pissed it got unbanned lol.

Unless you think Jund (in modern) and UW control or Esper Control (in standard) are aggro decks, or something.

It's pretty obvious what I'm saying. DRS enables decks that are high in disruption. Which is a big no when MTG is trying to focus on big numbers bashing heads as hard as they can.

Can't log into my old account because I can't check which email it was registered too. Can't merge my old account(tells me password is invalid, even when I am 100% sure it's correct.) So dumb.
