I play at an LGS that still holds Brawl in high regards and people play it regularly. We have a slight variance, in that we mostly play 1v1 with a 15-card sideboard.
One of the players runs a Golos Brawl deck that is giving my two Brawl decks (Ral, Storm Conduit Tempo and Teysa Karlov Aristocrats) alot of trouble. His deck consists of kill spells, counterapells, high value Planeswalkers, Mana dorks and Field of the Dead. The Field of the Dead always supplies him with enough ground protection that he can apply pressure without investing too much into board state, and if his hand is already stacked or almost empty he will activate Golos repeatedly.
Is there anyone who can give me some insight on how to deal with this type of deck? I can't even seem to get close when the life totals are 25.
Desolate Lighthouse.. oh boy.. honestly around $270 a box sounds like what should have been MSRP. Not the dramatic $315, do not buy this box for that much even if the evaluated price of the box is that high. Too much of a gamble.
These arts are really good but if we're going for some good ol' nostalgia they shoulda used the old arts. This set looks fun to draft but that $10 is looking preeeetty sketchy about now..
I loved playing this card back when I was a casual player but man.. It'll be a bummer to crack one of these open. I'm not even sure about in draft, I didn't get to try this bad boy when it was around but I'm optimistic it'll be useful in this limited.
They unbanned JtMS and not SFM which makes me very unhappy. This card is not just really powerful but wicked unfun to play against, not excited to lose to this guy. Time to play more Pauper.
Also this unbanning right before Masters 25 is mega sketchy, not a good move Wizards.
So according to a few people in this topic Mairsil is extremely not fun. I'm looking to build a Mairsil deck that could potentially be fun for me and focuses around controlling the board while playing generally hard to deal with creatures that Mairsil can benefit from should they die. I also wanted to include the effects that can return all exiled creatures like Pyxis of Pandemonium and the like, anyone have any advice or should I avoid this concept?

This is my favorite quote so far about this set, and I agree so heavily. Did I use this card during Gatecrash at all? I can't even remember.
Spam warning.

Question #1- Does eliminating a player from the game and Faith's Reward work with bringing Curse cards back into play?
Question #2 - If a player dies on their turn, is there an opportunity for me to cast Faith's Reward before the next turn to get back the curses?
