Feb 5, 2014TrappedUnderIce posted a message on Launch Giveaway!Goblin Piledriver. The art is awesome; in a set full of fun goblin art, it simply takes the cake as the best. I started during Onslaught block. Blue was never super powerful in Standard when I played it with Piledriver, but regardless he was so dominant that the one I had in my deck won me games by himself. Well, technically not by himself, but when he dropped the game turned around, putting the other player on the defensive immediately. After he rotated, I scored three more autograph copies and I played him during that extended season. Bidding Goblins was an incredibly fun deck to play, and he put it over the top. When I left Magic a few years later, I sold my Piledrivers for what was then much needed money. Eight years later, one of the first playsets that I ordered was a new playset of 'drivers for about three times the cost but I didn't care. I raced to the LGS after receiving them in the mail to get some games in with the guys. It was like nothing had changed; he is still a bomb.Posted in: Announcements

I'm unsure if my manabase or choice of creature lands is correct. And my sideboard is kinda sloppy, but the more I play against Tron the more bad Fulminators feel and I kinda just want to cut them and be guaranteed more against my other matchups. And I cut Rhino for fourth Souls, a 4/5 just feels so bad against one mana 6/6s and 5/5s or even another 4/5.
I never am positive how to build these go wide aggro decks even if they have a powerful top end.

I was fooling around with this, an energy subtheme. The energy elf might actually be better than Sylvan Advocate, start ramping out planeswalkers. The ol' Nissa, Worldwaker deck was at its best only because sometimes you could turn 3 her. I wish I could squeeze some Chandra Oaths into it in order to pressure opposing planeswalkers.
Edit: Deck has actually been supersweet, but having issues with Emrakul and Ulamog off of Aetherworks Marvel. Between Lili and Aetherworks, it's hard to deal with the eldrazi multiple times. Not sure what could help outside of playing Abzan for Sigarda.
So our Jund list might just want new Nissa, but not new Chandra? Maybe...
Should that Murder just be an Unlicensed Disintegration for mana reasons and clues from Tracker/Declaration in Stone?
Also curious if vehicles as a type push out planeswalkers...
