I think if you want more TBRs in the incubation list you should be playing ghorclan. With 16 creatures incubation is about 80% to hit. Going up to 18 (like the list in the video) puts you at 85%. If shriekmaw hit black creatures I would suggest that as well for incubation to hit spell like effects.
If you were to construct your UWx with spirits being one of the most important matchups to win, which version would you play? Jeskai miracles? So you have both terminus and bolt?
Which makes me question what is trying trying to do anymore. It feels so hard to beat a good spirits player. Why is the midrange deck getting outclassed by the tribal aggro deck?
What deck are we happy to sit across from?
(Sorry for the doom and gloom, just been frustrated with the deck lately)
I guess it cant be all bad since we made top 8 this weekend?
That can't be better than Jeskai, can it? Esper Charm is powerful but I'm not sure its even better than Illumination and it definitely can't replace Opt.
@Baynton24 - I've been trying out Cataclysmic Gearhulk as my bullet against spirits and humans. Cant be quelled, selfless spirited, or taken by freebooter. It also gives you a way to start closing the game too. It's been quite impressive for me so far if those are the matchups you're struggling with.
Someone on the control discord pointed me towards Cataclysmic Gearhulk as tech for the spirits/humans matchup. It has really impressed me so far. It stabilizes the board and puts a clock on them all in one. I'm playing it instead of the angels for now and hahe an extra timely reinforcements for the life gain.
I also like how it has immediate impact on the board even if it gets removed.
How do you guys handle Titanshift? It seems really hard to be able to answer all of their threats while also putting enough of a clock on them before manual Valakut triggers kill me.
Has anyone tried playing Abzan with horizon canopies? A land that makes mana early and helps prevent flood later seems exactly what BGx wants. I cant be the only one that has thought of this, yes?
In general, I'm surprised by the complete lack of abzan showing for the past year or so. Path to exile seems especially well positioned right now. What do you guys think is holding the archetype back?
I dont think we will ever get better card selection than looting in jund colors

Bolt/helix are much better than push.

Do you guys have any thoughts on this idea?
