Aura Shards is very meta-dependent. If your playgroup enjoys artifact shenanigans, definitely play it. We’ve got a guy running ~25 lands and all the mana rocks, he almost cries every time I stick Shards on turn three.
I’ve tested the Pyromancer build in our local meta, but it’s suboptimal when you face lots of aggro and midrange (Esper is easy anyway). The aggro-devotion build (23 land, no dragons) is awesome; I won’t come back. I’ve won our local Game Day while losing only 2 games out of 7 matches.
Oh, and we can run Hellspark Elemental again!
Bog can be a Ghost Quarter depending on the meta.

Maindeck
There are 2–4 flexible burn slots. Your options are Shock, Flames of the Firebrand and Annihilating Fire. Watch your meta and choose wisely.
Four maindeck Reckoners had won me every G1 I played.
Sideboard
Frostburn Weirds are amazing, they brickwall x/3 guys while building up devotion.
Skullcrack deals with Sphinx's Revelations and Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
Play Traitorous Instinct over Act of Treason. You don’t cast it before T5 anyway, so a bonus Shock is welcome.
Whip of Erebos really ****s you up. Play Smelt if the Whip is popular.
Dude got lucky, his curve was all over the place. Deck that came in 8th was much better constructed.
Frostburn Weird is a star against aggro and Anger of the Gods. Play it.
