blood baron is nice, but too bad it dies to FIREBALL, an UNCOMMON where x=4. i mean, in draft your alot more chances of getting a fireball and splash red in case you draw it, x=4 and BOOM, bye bye mythic. DOLLAR BIN
i feel like this card is definitely blue and black, it costs UB! lol, really, i feel like this might see casual play, and will get played in limited, probably picked between 7th and 15th, if your in Ub, and 9th-13th if youre in U/Bx. you know because what is does is give a creature you control or a creature someone else controls +x/-x. see the -x is the important part, im thinking because if your UByoure probably going to just mill or discard them so you dont need to buff your own dudes, just get rid of one of their threats.
that said, i wouldnt bet on seeing it in pro play (except the aforementioned draft or EDH, where this card is basically UB- your guy gets -20, thanks Tol Academy! you feel me?) but definately a side board card for if im playing a ub deck and need to give my creature or another player's creature +x/-x where x is equal to the cards in my hand.
the card is a hydra. And it costs XRG. When you play it, it gets X +1/+1 counters. dang, also double strike. as a sorc (wish it was INSTANCES!) you can pay 1 and a R or G and put another counter (which is like two because double strike!)
might play this in my hydra deck that uses forests and mountains to produce R and G mana for the hydra creature spells in the deck
