This is how this works in MTGO, but I would like clarification that that is how it is SUPPOSED to work.
In a game on MTGO, my opponent was chosing to attack my Ajani Goldmane with a 4/4 creature. I chose not to block, and instead cast a Shining Shoal with X = to 4, and choose the 4/4 creature as the damage source, and the location for it to be redirected to. I cast this out of desperation, figuring it would not have any effect. However the Shoal redirected all 4 damage from my planeswalker to his creature, like I had hoped it would.
The wording on Shining Shoal says 'the next damage that would be dealt to YOU or a CREATURE you control.' which is what raises the question. Should this card work to prevent combat damage from a creature to my planeswalker?
Any information with explanations and/or comp rules quotes would be appreciated. I couldnt find a diffinitive answer in the planeswalker faq.
If you watch the spinning, you can see the base of the figure is actually pretty wide, the figure is attached to thepart with the indicator on it. The indicator is metal, and the figure is plastic, so its pretty bottom heavy, and sturdy.
With a little force, you can pull the hand off of the indicator, and glue any mini you want in it's place. I got the counter second hand for about $10 a couple years ago, and the mudkip was about $5. If I wanted to, I could yank off the mudkip and glue the original hand back on.
This is the game page for the pokemon figures, if you do happen to like pokemon, these are some of the most detailed minis they have come out with. http://www.go-pokemon.com/tfg/
I originally planned on using this as the figure for the life counter, but decided it would be too fragile.
She is a character from a game called Dark Haven: Legends, replainted based on the look of Angel of Despair and Desolation Angel. Check out this page for pics http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/dark_heaven
There are alot of minis that look like Magic characters.
No, the force goes to the graveyard as a stae-based effect when it's put into play, the graft counter never even has a chance to target it or resolve, and this should be in the rules forum.
How about instead of being able to play it from your graveyard it had, "At the beginning of your upkeep if ~ is in your graveyard you may pay 2B, if you do, return ~ to your hand." That way you can Swampcycle more than once.
Hmm, I do like that, but that would delay playing her a turn if you hadn't already returned her, but at the same time it would let you play her faster if you cycled her again Lets see what some other people think, also, here are initial versions of the green and blue ones.
I called customer support. They said that this was a problem that had been occuring with more frequency, but didn't know the cause. They where able to manually reset my password and it worked fine after that.

You can get the unaltered counters from Reaper for about $20, http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/se/75067_G also ask at your local gaming store if they can order one.

Made using a classic Reaper life counter and a Pokemon spinny 3-d game Mudkip

Also, I think this one's abilities are fairly offset from the other Akroma's and she is differant enough from Spirit of the Night
I think I like:
Flying, lifelink, deathtouch, Pro white, Pro green, sac a critter +2/+1, Pay 6 life: regen.

Basically she has to have Flying, Pro white, Pro green, but the other three are up in the air.
I really like the no-lifegain thing, and her name will stay "Angel of Malice" unless something way cooler sounding comes up.
Any ideas?
