Drop one word from that card's flavor text and it's awesome instead of cheesy. What a shame. Great card though.

Remember when Maro said Mythics would be cool card not necessarily designed for tournament tables? They finally print a set where that philosophy is adhered to, and the whole community just whines.

This card isn't very good, but it doesn't really matter. Every rare card isn't designed for t2 standard play. This is fine for limited and could be decent in commander, at least in a budget commander deck since this card will be a bargain bin rare.

I doubt it will see play in standard, but I don't care if 10 of the rares are basically junk. That always happens.

Two thoughts: First off, this seems stupidly powerful. Like a Gruul Archangel Avacyn almost.

Second, the templating bugs me. If it has haste and it gives other creatures haste, why not just write "creatures you control have haste?"

I actually disagree. I'd rather have the mythics be the weird, build-around-me niche cards than overpowered format staples like the Gideons, heart of kiran, Emrakul etc.

I know this card isn't actually "good" in most situations or decks, but it's cool, flavorful and most importantly, you can't just jam it in any deck that makes black mana so it's not gonna run me $50.

It just had to be a sorcery didn't it? I love "answers" that don't handle felidar guardian, saheeli rai, Gideon or Heart of Kiran

I expect this card will be banned in commander for the same reason Prophet of Kruphix is banned. Stuff that can untap everything (almost) every turn leads to stale games pretty quickly. I'm no expert on commander though, so if I'm wrong, I'd be interested to know why.

Wow, am I the only one who'd rather see planeswalker like Tez be a niche, build-around-me card as opposed to a Gideon, where you slap it in any deck that can produce white mana?

Yeah quick artifact generators are a definite must. Such as Tezzeret himself. Or, I don't know, the entirety of Kaladesh?

Hear Hear! What's with the rampant entitlement every spoiler season that leads players to believe that every Rare or Mythic slot must be playable? We've seen far worse. Not every Mythic can be worth the price of the booster, nor a windmill slam wincon.
