    Feel free to discuss this MOBA. I have been playing it and at first their was a bit of a learning curve. However after 3-4 games I started getting the ideas behind it.

    Q: Where are the wards in the store? All I see are various other consumables.
    A: Because each "Shaper" (Hero/Champion/etc/etc) comes with its own free ward that refreshes after 3 minutes.
    Q: Then how do you have better vision of the enemy?
    A: Spirit Wells. Not only do they increase the amount of Vim (money) your team of Shapers get for each Spirit Well, but if someone from the enemy team tries to steal a Spirit Well, then you have vision of them. In addition certain Shapers have abilities that can provide additional vision for a short time.
    Q: How come there is only two lanes?
    A: To break the meta. No really. The idea is like what would happen if (League of Legend/SMITE)'s (Twisted Treeline/Siege) and (Summoner's Rift/Conquest) maps had a kid.
    Q: So jungling is still viable?
    A: Yep, there are some Shapers like Voluc or Marah who are very good for different reasons as Junglers.
    Q: So what else is different about Shapers?
    A: Many Shapers are tied to cooldowns only. There is only a few that that are tied to a resource, however such resources are Energy or Health.
    Q: Doesn't that make the game unbalanced if so many are only restricted by their cooldown?
    A: Not really. As this means all you need is your starting item to build later on into another and some health potions. Which means the only thing keeping you from staying in lane longer is your HP bar.
    Q: Is the Nexus the same?
    A: Nope. Its this massive creature called a Guardian that in order to slay it you must destroy all five of its cores so it can be damaged. However the cores can respond if you take too long, also the guardian does come with its own set of "abilities" to protect your base.

    If I were to steal an enemy Jitte with no counters on it that is attached to a equipped creature with Steal Artifact... do I have control over the counters that get placed on Jitte from then on? Like I let my opponent damage me with the creature equipped with Jitte and then take out one of their other weaker creatures by removing counters from it?

    I don't want to dislike THEROS as a whole, but I can give examples why the block may have felt not to peoples liking.
    1) Too Safe. The block was carefully made to be very balanced but it also caused the printing of several underwhelming cards.
    2) The Block "Striclty Better" itself within the same block. Yoked Ox and Lagonna-Band Trailblazer, Felhide Minotaur and Felhide Petrifier.
    3) The surprising lack of Legends outside of the Gods themselves. The block is peppered with several cards that are based on mythical entities that are non-legend status like Titan of Eternal Fire = Prometheus or Renowned Weaver = Arachne. In fact Mistcutter Hydra was originally a Legend based on Hercules and his twelve tasks but R&D scrapped it and instead opted for an easier design with a Hydra. Since they wanted to try their hardest to avoid printing too many legends that would cause it to be Kamigawa 2.0.

    I look forward to Warlords of Khanar because its a down-top design instead of top-down.

    Spark Jolt - Better than Bolt of Keranos. On a 1:1:1 ratio (Damage/Cost/Scry X)
    Magma Jet - The best of the bunch on a 2:2:2 ratio (Damage/Cost/Scry X)
    Bolt of Keranos - Bad. Its worse than a Ghostfire which is at least an Instant and Colorless. Three damage for three mana is fine, but its Scry 1 is horrible. Its a good example of why Theros Block was too safe actually, I wouldn't mind Bolt of Keranos at the same cost, for three damage, that had Scry 3, and was at a higher rarity. As even on a ratio like to the previous two its horrible in its own regard as a 3:3:1 (Damage/Cost/Scry X).

    I saw its name, saw its ability, thought it was pretty good, saw its mana cost last and thought: Terrible.
    Even if the Scry was free each turn like Thassa, this enchantment should have costed 1RR AT LEAST.

    1RU? WOOT! I feel better for being optimistic in posting that it would cost 1RU earlier in this thread.
    My next optimistic guess is that Dack has 3 loyalty.

    I want to remain optimistic, so 1RU seeieng as how no walker with red in their mana cost as ever even graced the 3 CMC mark besides Domri Rade.

    Sure its got that drawback, but its very good. 1BB for a flying 5/5 isn't that bad either when you think about it. Besides black is well known for creatures with drawbacks.

    I can actually see this being good. I mean yes its power is low, but for good reason. Its a 1/3 with Double Strike and Trample for 1RR. Give it a small power boost and it would actually become a 2/4 or even a 3/5 that hurts like truck.

    Yep it does state that the event kit comes with 20 minotaur tokens for JOU. So a mono red minotaur legend would make sense. It would make less sense though if we got a second non-god legend in B/R mana
