The trample effect has never mattered for me, but the cantrip side is nice. I still have not found the best build yet, but I did move soul scar mage to my side board as a 3 of currently.
Deck is great, fun to play, and works well at the FNM level. I have been 4-0 two weeks in a row.
I dropped the crash through for collective defiance and 4 mountains out for 4 ramunap ruins are excellent changes from the list you posted.
Right now I am on a mission to replace the 4 Soul-Scar Mage. But I am not sure what yet.

I have been playing 4 color saheeli combo decks for the past few months, using either chord or evolutions. Both versions allowed some ago beat down outside the combo, which in all honesty is not that useful. I had a real bad run last week at FNM and went like 3-14 in games all night.
I feel like exarch and pact could really help the things that stopped me. I look forward to testing your build out.
Seemed like we had a lot of excitement in this thread recently, but it's all seemed to have died out. What happened? I'm having consistent success with the deck right now, and it's feeling super fun, and very effective.

I have already walked away from the sisters version of the saheeli deck and sleeved up Lejoon's V3 for modern on monday night.
the reddit post focused on reasons why the author dropped the third color in favor of untapped lands, and the chandra's importance for getting delerium with chandra F discard draw new hand function to cast spider with the bonus and to reduce emerkul's casting cost.
I enjoy the different angle of this build. And the sideboard transformed into a much faster build with energy aggro creatures.
I kinda like the concept of running GRramp over GRdelerium... having some G-gearhulks and world breakers and forget about delerium spiders and emmy.
Most people I was talking to did not like the idea of running path to exile, I like that it is 1 CMC and that is it unconditional removal that I can't find in black
can we discuss these thoughts please?

concealed courtyard helps allow the white splash
shambling vent is a nice substitute for mutavault in a non pack rat build
turn 2/3/4 a flagstones of trokair searching for godless shrine off of a smallpox is a great way to pull ahead
