I've had this situation come up once when I was a player at a store other than my own. They wouldn't allow me to see the reporter software to try to remedy it, so I can't say if they were serious (they may very well have been ( that or unable to discover the real problem)). I'm a L2 organizer, and I haven't run into that situation, though.
I work at The Game Preserve in Indianapolis, IN, and I've seen this ad. It is indeed on the Game Buyer magazine. What is said is in the ad is 100% accurate...I just read it today. Just wanted to vouch for this guy.
Ok, Look at the card's art. This is clearly Victorian imagery. The flavor text says that she is a Lady. This doesn't seem MAGIC to me. Any of you think a Victorian block would be completely out of place, or is my assessment wrong?
that idea has been done...canali has used a card called "pedro, salsa master" that ic a dude that can be played as an instant and you rearrange all spells and abilities on the stack when he comes into play
not to nitpick here, but Goblin Furrier is about the worst card you could have chosen for the 2 slot...you're mono-red....there's 4 red guildmages that would be better. I understand there's a cap on the number of uncommons, but that ins't clearly explained in your article from what I could see.
the similarities between the alpha counterspell art are undeniable: the way he holds his hand, the shape of his mouth, the facial hair, the basic facial structure, the earring, the tree in the background jets up from the left of the art like the castle in the original, the magicks around his hand, even his wrinkles on his head and hand are there. Also, if im correct, this art is drawn by mark poole...he did counterspell. all i can say is that, at least artistically, these are the same paintings.
i fully agree that with the 2, there would be insane amounts of burn; however, 10th isnt out until a year after ts. and the pun in that quote is just too good.
"I guarantee you before this block is over you'll have the experience to open a pack and be a little shocked by a card we made. And maybe even more than a little shocked."
