How on earth are you a big dog to burn? 2 Aurioks, 2 Timelys and 3 Sorins main make it really hard for them to win. Plus 4 Inquisition of kozilek to stop them.
I'm about to sound crazy but hear me out, there is a card from BFZ I can't find any mention of on this forum that I think could easily find a home in this deck. I'm aware it's not new but I didn't know it existed until now it it seems awesome.
Altar's reap.
I know. The card looks like crap. But when you're playing with tokens, it's very easy to respond to a removal spell on a spirit or just do it for value. I feel like I'm going insane. You guys need to try this card, I'm only playing one but I'm loving it.
Elspeth and liliana were both fantastic. I only own one as of now due to me being 16 and having limited finances. That said once my prize money comes in I'm going to make the following changes:
Main deck
-1 zealous persecution
+1 liliana of the veil
Sideboard
-1 blood baron of vizkopa
+1 zealous persecution
Hey guys am I the only one that runs raise the alarm? I'm just really confused as to why most people our lists don't run them?
And I'm only running 3 discard mainboard, is that a mistake?
Generally in BW tokens you'll pick Raise the alarm or bitterblossom. Bitterblossom's pros are that you get to have a much better grinding game and bitterblossom into liliana on curve just wins a ton of matchups. Raise the alarm allows you to race faster, but if you run Raise the alarm I highly recommend adding Honor of the pure. Personally I play a bitterblossom version of the deck that allows you to grind a lot, but there is reasoning behind the raise the alarm shells.
3 discard is definitely a mistake. I feel like 7 main deck is a good number. I play 4 IoK and 3 thoughtseize. It's possible duress or maybe even despise can fit in the sideboard.
I used to bring in prison against twin, but now I only do it if the twin player didn't see a lot of discard/removal game one. If they did, it's a pretty safe assumption that they board out the combo, or at least most of it and we can disrupt what's left
Ghostly prisons are mainly a concession to the merfolk MU, because I wanted another hose card pretty badly. It also comes in against coco elves which is pretty nice. Also Naya zoo lists have been on the rise lately and I expected a good deal of that this weekend so I upped my normal 1 to 2.
