Thanks for the feedback everyone. I sent two cards to each artist, so I am in no rush. I thought I may have been spoiled getting the first pair back so quickly.
I did consider emailing the artist to inquire, but I think it is too early for that. I'll probably reserve that option for somewhere around the 6 month mark, if it comes to that.
I sent some cards out in the mail for the first time in early March. I sent cards to 2 different artists, and asked each of them by email beforehand to make sure it would be ok (they both said yes - just include a SASE).
I received my cards back from the one artist within 2 weeks. I am still waiting for my other cards to return. This is not meant as a complaint, I understand the artists are all very busy, but I am wondering what my expectations for a timeframe should be?
Hey, digging your deck. I discovered Ulasht in a box of junk rares over the summer, and just started building the deck about a month ago. I think it is my favorite Commander to date.
Have you made any recent updates to your list? A few cards in mine I don't see here:
In the first scenario, you would lose control of Starke before he untaps. Part of the ability resolving is the permanent's controller gaining control of Starke. You would destroy the permanent, they would get Starke, and then he untaps.
Hey, thanks for the information. I see a lot of people mention using untap effects with Starke to get the most use out of him (Thornbite being a common one). Is there something I am missing that would allow this to work?
I have a question for how the stack would work in two scenarios. The creature in question is Starke of Rath. If I have Starke equipped with Thornbite Staff, can I control the stack such that I can destroy multiple targets before turning control over to the controller of the last target I destroyed?
I have a similar question, only instead of Thornbite Staff, now Starke is equipped with Illusionist's Bracers. If I choose an opponent's creature and one of my own, can I stack it so that I destroy my opponent's creature first and then my own, so that I keep control of Starke?
Hello, I am relatively new to Magic. I am still working on my first EDH deck and have a question about tokens. I know that a token does not move to stay in the graveyard when it dies or is destroyed. However, does it stay in the graveyard long enough for a spell at instant speed to take effect?
A specific example: my opponent casts Day of Judgement. I then cast Fresh Meat. Do I get a 3/3 beast token for each token of mine that was destroyed?

Stone-Seeder Hierophant - love it with Gaea's Cradle.
Dragonlair Spider - Makes tokens and gives me an air blocker, something my deck is weaker against.
Vexing Shusher - Perfect against control decks
Hooded Hydra and Lifeblood Hydra - Lifeblood, especially, has saved the game for me many times.
Shamanic Revelation - From the new Fate Reforged set, strict upgrade from Collective Unconscious.

Thank you for your time!
Sorry, phasing has always confused me.

Thank you for any insight on this.
