The more I think about this set, the more lame it is. Everything other than the gods is pretty much an inferior version of a previous staple with "enchantment" or "creature" written somewhere.
This. Imo, it's cheap and unimaginative design. I can only hope that the next block comes with more interesting cards and mechanics.
Is "better than bulk" meaningful, though? Every set has lots of cards that are hyped and "better than bulk", but in practice 90% of those cards see little or no serious play.
I'm not sure exactly what your criteria is, but I'm guessing the majority of the cards (at least rares) listed will be one dollar cards in a few months.
I agree that Launch the Fleet seems very much like a win-more card. That said, I also think people overvalue Feast of Dreams. My pick is Armaments; a flexible card that can be both removal and pump.
For me the pick is between Oreads and Tactics. The pack is quite deep, but those two cards stand out to me. Tactics probably has the highest potential for blowouts, but I feel Oreads is better overall.
