I ha e been on a campaign about trying to get help for this deck and I always get something other than help for this deck and the rules are always in question.
Like it's that hard to understand.
I don't get it and it actually makes me really annoyed about the MTG community
Always questioneeing than giving help on a list.
I've got more play this or something that was broken in mtgo but never had access to the cards I'm using.
Really makes me question playing mtg with the public
First, this is paper and no ban list so on to my problem.
I need to add counterspells, top picks are disrupt, confound and misdirection.
I pick this because cmc and they in some way draw me a card.
Another pick is Spellstutter sprite.
If I have to go an aggro plan and it works with cloud of farries.
Next is I don't know what to take out or what numbers, I would like to make room for a single capsize and I think disrupt would be best a 4 of and maybe 3 of the other pick.
Also looking at something like maybe pestermite but I think it's unwarranted.
I like how quickly it can switch between playing control or beatdown. I've only tested ~8 matches so far online, with ~5 of them being against T1 decks. I lost one match to Through the Breach Titan, won the rest. I just swapped a Waste and 3 Ghost Quarter for the Cavern of Souls, but that could be wrong.
In general it assembles Tron much less consistently than really any of the other Tron variants, but it also cares about that much less. It can easily just play a ramp/Eldrazi game until it naturally gets to the late game. The most crucial thing so far has been holding on to Warping Wail/Spatial Contortion for the right moment (never snap it off on things that your creatures can already handle eventually), and making the right Chalice of the Void call. Figuring out when to go hard for Tron and when to be on the Eldrazi beatdown is also a thing.
Also still on the fence about Skysovereign, it should probably be an All is Dust or Sundering Titan, but it's been good often enough that I haven't cut it yet.
I really like your list except for a couple things.
I'm undecided on mimdstone, how's it work out for you?
Why not a 3rd cotv in the MB?
I think 3 karn and 2 ugin is to much, sure they are useful but I'd never want to see more than one of either; I see them as mostly expensive forms of removal or control.
Any thoughts on defense grid? 7 possible cards you'd want to use on your turn but with the mana advantage the deck offers it can really slow the opponent down and almost blank their removal.
Just curious how this matches up against the other eldrazi decks.
edit i have no idea why it says your list is mine.
Plating makes the deck do anything.
Artifact lands help.in damage and affinity count
Tomb makes crazy things happen like a t2 tezz ftw.if tomb was legal in modrrn it would be the most used land ever.
But wotc hates fast mana so modern will never see the other artifact lands.
Unless they make new legendary versions but that won't happen either.
Artifact lands make things like frogmite, Myr enforcer relivant and turns Mox opal on faster.
The more I play my list the more I hate ravager, sure cute combat tricks but he's very mediocre any other time.
Thanks for the primer, good reads here, one thing I disagree with is your thoughts on brainstorm.
More often than not I have more cantrips that let me shuffle/scry them away and I use it to hide combo pieces.
Which version would you say is the more reliable GS/ETW variant?
Ok I'll get the obvious out of the way, more Noble, rhino, liege, voice and finks.
More than likely I'll drop the walker package for thoes cards.
I'm wanting to stay more controlling with the efficient beaters that we use.
Chord had been ok at best
Not sure what to do because I love witness but finks is really the card to have.
I looked for other options but I feel it's the best 3drop in the deck.
I don't have control decks in my meta so I'm moving smiter to the board.
Thrun and angel are because I lack in rhino and liege which I will get at some point. Mostly the reason I have chord and witness,
I do end up top decking a bunch even with only 5 dorks I can dump easy, Elspeth is fun for any creature and sort of a 3rd liege.
Sorin is the biggest under performer MB, and lotv I have a love hate relationship with. Sometimes it's good others I wish it was something else.
I think that about covers it and my thoughts about where I want to go, I'd love some feedback and please don't tell me to buy goyf and/or play a different deck.
I actually wanted to build pod but once it got the axe I moved to a different direction and that's why I have some cards here as I was going to do a mash of the 2 decks.
Saw podless pod and I was not impressed.
I realize this is a mostly aggro meta deck but I feel some midrange aspects can be implemented to improve certain matchups.
Gatekeeper servant would be on curve with master of etherium. I don't think it's remotely playable. The one card that looks playable is innovation fair, the colorless land that gains life each turn and can tutor an artifact.
Only tutor target is plating and at 4 no thinks, no current spoiled artifacts look interesting at all.
If affinity wants to move up, I say it needs to go like infect, drop a bunch of stuff, play tezz t2-3, win on t3-4.
Or a uwr route with shrapnel blast, galvantic blast and that new re legend which will die to removal
Clamp in affinity will be the best thing ever.
But every deck that has x/1's in it will use it.
Why not! All the blue decks have all the 1cmc cantrip why can't affinity and other cheap aggro decks have better draw than just sdt that doesn't even get used.
Sdt in affinity does nothing but add to the artifact count. Even my build I'd lose more life setting up the top than I am drawing and making use of it.
It would help more t2-3 decks(more t3 like affinity) than the rest.
Like it's that hard to understand.

The deck is terrible these days, another reason why I'm looking to probly just sell it

If I ask my question it says non Latin unicode is not allowed yet I'm allowed to type this.
I really like your list except for a couple things.
Why the swords?
Testing in my version of mono blue tron is 3 maps are enough.

Anyone have any ideas on how to be more consistent? Obviously to many tezz and 2-3 drops but most other cards I could use seem uninteresting to me.
How much will MB chalice hurt me if I dropped 1 of all 3 drops in the current meta?
If I ran chalice MB should I run vial to skirt around chalice?
I don't know what to do anymore to make it more competitive.
Or should I just forget legacy and port it to modern where affinity is a thing?
Only tutor target is plating and at 4 no thinks, no current spoiled artifacts look interesting at all.

Thank you, I'd love to hear your ideas about my pm.
I wish to see your list

Doubtful any storm variants would want it as 3cmc will be painful with ant.
Graveyard centric decks would like it but not dredge, 3cmc is a lot for many decks they wouldn't consider it because slots are tight as it is.
