I have made the following changes:

    Tithe has become abeyance
Oppression has become 2 negator and 2 abeyance
    Grunt has become withered wretch

I will not be playing agenda

Verdict is very good and I used it in my old version. I don't know what I would cut to squeeze it into the deck.

well, I do 3/4 of your suggestions. I was thinking about playing abeyance in the slot that I play tithe. Im not sure if I can squeeze in 4, but I will test it.

Back in the day (when legacy was called 1.5) I had a fantastic BW control deck. I ran 4 maindeck planarvoid and other crazy things. It preformed very well. Unfortunatley once 1.5 turned into legacy the deck got significantly worse as the decks I designed it to beat no longer existed. I decided that it was time to remake the deck for todays meta.

    Card choices:

Outpost: They make one guy per turn for either blocking or going on the offensive. I only play one because they suck hard in multiples.
    Scrubland
    Plains
    Swamp
    Bloodstained Mire
Mishra's factory: A decent win condition. He gets abused by needle, but vindicate helps that. Factory survives wrath.

Nether Spirit: Barring STP this guy can't be killed. Very good blocker. Survives ***. Can go on the offensive once needed. Can't be countered.

    Duress
Infest: A *** vs goblins. It also sweeps other random garbage
Skeletal scrying: Its a very good instant. It can remove a nether spirit if you screw up and get two in there
Tithe: Im kind of iffy on tithe. I may run abeyance. I may run innocent blood. When it gets 2 scrublands though, its amazing
Smallpox: Pretty much makes diabolic edict obsolete. It can kill mongoose, which is a huge plus.
Vindicate: Never a dead card. There is always something worth blowing up. Simple elegance.
Wrath of god: Killing every creature is usually a good thing in a control deck
Decree of justice: Barring stifle it can't be countered. Make a ****load of tokens for blocking or attacking next turn. It replaces itself
    Swords to plowshares
    Hymn to tourach

    Sideboard
Jotun grunt: Kind of meh. He is extra beats in the solidarity match and helps vs loam decks. I may replace him
warmth: Mono red burn seems like it may be tough. There is nothing like losing to burn round one. This helps enormously
    Engineered plague: Naming goblins
Oppression: Good vs combo. I may actually play this maindeck. Its very hard (damn near impossible) for iggy pop to go off with oppression on the field.

I think right now the combo matchup is pretty rough. I haven't tested enough to know, but I am pretty sure that my clock is not fast enough to make my discard enough for the win. Thresh is an easy matchup. Goblins is an ok match, if I resolve a *** or an infest I usually win. Goblins still does stupid things like winning turn 3 which are hard to play against.

morning tide is a bad idea because of how it screws me over.

    Sphere of grace seems solid.

Akroma's vengence seems too slow for affinity

    // Lands
    4 [ON] Flooded Strand
    4 [8E] Coastal Tower
    2 [7E] Adarkar Wastes
    7 [7E] Island (4)
    7 [MM] Plains (2)

    // Spells
    4 [8E] Wrath of God
    4 [IN] Rout
    4 [OD] Ancestral Tribute
    3 [JU] Test of Endurance
    4 [IN] Reviving Vapors
    4 [IN] Fact or Fiction
    3 [8E] Ivory Mask
    4 [4E] Spirit Link
    3 [IN] Probe
    3 [4E] Disenchant

    // Sideboard
SB: 4 [SOK] Kataki, War's Wage
    SB: 2 [7E] Ensnaring Bridge
    SB: 1 [MR] Tel-Jilad Stylus
    SB: 3 [PS] Meddling Mage
    SB: 2 [DS] Metal Fatigue
    3 defense grid

So, what the hell is this?

Basically you play out stuff to keep you alive and draw cards. Then you ancestral tribute for an asston. Then you play test of endurance. Then you play game two.

That version right there hasn't been tested too much yet, but its only a few cards different then the version me and my friends tested the hell out of yesterday. I haven't really tested my sideboard at all yet.

    Matchups:

CAL: I beat this deck like a rented mule. Seriously, the win condition gets stopped from ivory mask, confinement doesn't effect me at all, and it has precisley 1 enchant destruction effect.

Affinity: My worst match. It beats me before I can untap 4 times. A good portion of my sideboard is anti affinity. I need something that isn't metal fatigue.

Madness: Almolst perfect. I lost one (1) game, because he held onto 4 circular logics the whole game, and I couldn't resolve a test. This is why stylus is in my sideboard.

The Rock: generaly I beat this deck. Pernicous deeds keep my win condition in limbo.

Burn: I got the **** kicked out of me. Now I play Ivory mask.

RG: 8 ***s + ivory mask make this a bye.

Ichorid: I haven't played this out yet, but I think I would fair quite well.

Tog: Haven't tested at all. Too many counters could be a problem. Defense grid is nice.

Spam Warning. See here. Topic moved.

i agree, muc is probably the best. But if you weren't going type 2, you should try fluctuator. It wins turn 2-3 and I got 55 of the cards needed for the deck out of the nickle bin at my card store.
