On shaman, in my testing the card has been nuts. Currently running 3. In a blue heavy meta the ability to kill an oppenet without using the attack step has been vital to blanking cryptic command for me. Having them tap out to cryptic tap the team draw a card, and then killing them in response without giving them another draw step or chance to untap has won me so many games.
In combination with chord, it allows us to win the game with a far lower reliance on our dorks or archdruids at instant speed.
It is interesting that people have had different testinh experiences with the card.
keeping some # of visionary seems correct. weather we play the full play set will remain to be seen. from my testing 3 feels really good alongside Dwynen's Elite. Sylvan messenger seems to compete for a slot with visionary. at most i can see cutting 1 visionary for one messenger.
Shaman of the Pack may not be a reason to splash black, but for those of us already splashing black i can see playing it as a 2 of for added reach. becomes a question of what to cut. a 3/2 for 3 with upside that that gets hit off CoCo seems great.
i agree with basically everything you have said. Prowess Of The Fair has been fantastic out of the board for me especially with tron being more popular (beats up on Pyroclasm).
i have been running that exact manna base with good results (2 Overgrown Tomb)
Thoughtseize has seemed mediocre out of the board... until you play amulet bloom then its awesome. With 2 decks making top 8 of the latest SCG invitational you will probably see it everywhere
In an effort to deal with red sweepers I have upped my lord count to 6 including 2 elvish champion and splashed back for prowess of the fair and abrupt decay to deal with night of souls betrayal and other problem cards
Anger of the gods is still an issue but you can't win em all
In my own testing 4 has been to many and many times 2 have been to few.

i have my own opinion, as it seems i side her out quite frequently, just wanted to hear y'all's thoughts
"The innovator" has spoken. Deck complete.
Ya probably not. A man can dream though
Dryad Arbor loses alot of value with out Green Sun's Zenith in the format
