Did anyone try this card in cube? If so, could you share your findings?
I'm considering trying out Courier over Inventor's Apprentice, Soul-Scar Mage or maybe Shrine of Burning Rage.
No one has made a thread with this card.
At first I thought it was pretty bad as you would want it in a deck with small and big creatures. I then saw that you can also enchant your opponents creatures to destroy them and find your fatty which doesn't require a deck with small creatures or tokens. It can be similar to how Oath of Druids plays.
I think it is an interesting option if you try to push that archetype.
This is a slam dunk for me. I'd probably place it in #1 spot for the guild.
I'm less certain about what to cut for it. It will be either Spell Queller, Detention Sphere and Sphinx's Revelation. I'm leaning towards the Sphere since we have many of these effects available in white nowadays. And this card is also removal like Sphere. What would you cut?
Sleight and thereafter Probe/Serum are probably the weakest and might be cut some time in the future. I do however like having access to them for the Jeskai/UR spells deck.
And by the way, there does not have to be a bonus question for every card in my opinion. You do already put a lot of work into this thread, Spike, and the main focus should be the daily card itself and not some extra "random" question . I greatly apprieciate the time you (and all participants) put into this as it helps me making decisions for my own cube. So thanks everyone!
1. Cut Psychatog
2. Keep Initiate
3. It's between Supreme Will and Impulse. Keep the other spells in (Condescend is still solid). Keep Impulse for combo decks and Will for more general control builds.
4. Keep Pestermite if you run the combo
I actually like that there are only a few certain inclusions from this set.
Power creep has been going on a little too fast for my liking for the past few years - especially for on the creature side.
The set itself looks fun to draft and good for standard, so I'm not complaining :).
I'm surprised that no one made a thread for this card yet.
Sure it is expensive, but 7 mana is quite easy to reach in a GX ramp deck where this card will shine.
I think the ACS would be getting back a hasty 4/4 mana dork each turn. However imagine if you have a Mulldrifter in the 'yard (or hand) or something like Eternal Witness, Kalonian Hydra, Reclamation Sage, Primeval Titan.
I actually added Imperious Perfect recently and have been quite satisfied with it. However I also think this is worse while being 2-colored. Easy pass.
I think I'm in the camp that likes the original Bolas more than this new one. God-Pharaoh may (arguably) be slightly stronger, but to me the original Bolas is a lot more iconic. So much that I won't be making the switch.
I also like that the original can deal with any kind of permanent where God-Pharaoh is limited to creatures and whatever the top spell in their library can do.
It could potentially do some heavy lifting in a Crucible / Excavator / Titania shell.
I am considering to try it over a generic green 5-6 drop like Kalonian Hydra.
Austere > Rout
Opt or Sleight of Hand?

I think I will try to test this one.

Sorin > Kaya
I play more one mana cantrips (draw spells) than most, even at my size (720):
Ancestral Recall
Ancestral Vision
Brainstorm
Gitaxian Probe
Ponder
Preordain
Serum Visions
Sleight of Hand

2. Liliana > Belcher > Ammit
3. Duplicate > Locust
And I'd pick Will, Kira and Censor from those 5.

The cards I'm considering are:
W
Adorned Pouncer
Angel of Condemnation
U
Supreme Will
Nimble Obstructionist
B
-
R
Abrade
Firebrand Archer
Burning-Fist Minotaur
C
God-Pharaoh's Gift
WUBRG
The Scarab God
