Quote from TactuzMaybe you could take a look at my Ghave deck?
I really like your version of the deck and I think my deck is similar in many ways.
I focus a bit more on token combos as well as graveyard combos and a little less / different ramp.
A few cards I think you should consider: Prison Term, Oblivion Ring, Stoneforge Mystic (for Skullclamp), Animate Dead, Mana Crypt (if budget allows it) and Aven Mindcensor.
What are your thoughts on those cards or generally on my deck?
As to my feelings on the cards you list, prison term is a card that I had sort of forgotten exists and would be a nice answer to some very annoying generals that have shown up in my meta. I personally don't like Stoneforge Mystic in this deck, but I also don't use skullclamp a whole lot. An animate dead effect is something that I have been thinking about adding for a little while now but I was thinking reanimate. Which do you think would be better? Now, mana crypt is definitely a strong card but if I am ever constrained by mana it is, in an overwhelming majority of the cases, due to a lack of colors instead of amount so in my list I feel like I need to prioritize colored mana production. However, that said any list that is the other way around should consider it but that can be said of almost any list. Aven mindcensor I feel like is kind of dependent on your meta, in mine there is a surprisingly low amount of search so it wouldn't do me a whole lot.
Quote from CreativeStormSome others might have asked, but.. what do you think of Burgeoning?
I personally don't think that burgeoning is that great unless you get in the beginning or can almost always keep your hand full/run a deck centered around lands.
I may have mentioned this before, but there are some cards that I think that it may be time to cut. Fecundity is a card that I have only cast a couple of times since I originally built the deck and I never find myself needing it, so I feel like that's a strong sign that it should go. Woodfall Primus is another, it is a very good card, but it so expensive that I rarely ever play it and the slot might be more useful being given to a different card. What do you guys think?

Printing different cards on a similar power level as existing cards is fine and it gives each cube designer some 'wriggle room' to personalize their cube. But I hope they will keep the 'obvious better' cards to a minimum in new sets.

Harness. The cheaper effect makes it playable in aggro - especially good against midrange decks that aggro already have a hard time against.
No help?
For your information, I currently have Kher Keep, Boom // Bust and Goblin Bombardment included in my list.
I'm thinking of cutting Bombardment and maybe Keep(?) for one of the other cards (Gut Shot, Gamble, Ingot Chewer), which is where I'd like you to chime in .
For the Spell Snare question, I currently have the tier 2 cantrips, Opt and Portent, in cube. I'm thinking that Spell Snare could be a replacement for either one, but I don't know which effect is most wanted (conditional counter or tier 2 cantrip). So if you have thoughts on that, I hope you will share them.

Generally I agree with your rankings. I am surprised to find Declaration in Stone at #11. That was a card I originally dismissed for my own cube, but I may have to reevaluate.
I also think that Westvale Abbey will prove to be too expensive. I don't think it is much better than Springjack Pasture as that last ability will be hard to activate.
Tireless Tracker is a card I'm excited about. It is playable in many archetypes. It isn't ideal in aggro, but still better than most of the other green 3 drops for that while being great in slower strategies. There may not be room for it at 540, but at 720 there certainly is.
Thanks for your list and work behind it!

Ingot Chewer
Boom // Bust
I'd also be interested in your thoughts on Spell Snare vs Opt/Portent.
You were also right about Visions of Beyond being bad. It was passed around without anyone picking it in my latest draft with my playgroup (I wasn't playing blue or I would have tried it). Afterwards my friends told me the same as you did - that it was a bad card in this format. So ultimatelty it is now cut from my cube .

After re-reading it, I certainly think it is one of the better red 3-drops in cube. It is going in mine .
