Emblems reside in the Command zone, not the battlefield, and as such are not permanents. Things that affect permanents, like Tirel's ultimate, won't affect emblems.
So here's a very rough draft of the necessary rules to accommodate this:
100.1. These Magic rules apply to any Magic game with two or more players, including two-player games and multiplayer games.
100.1a A two-player game is a game that begins with only two players.
100.1b A multiplayer game is a game that begins with more than two players. See section 8, “Multiplayer Rules.” 100.1c An effect may add a new player to the game. If a new player is added to a two-player game, that game becomes a multiplayer game. See rule 718.
...
102. Players
102.1. A player is one of the people in the game. The active player is the player whose turn it is. The other players are nonactive players. 102.1a An effect may add a new player to the game that isn't represented by a person.
...
718. Adding New Players
718.1. One card (Clone Player) adds a new player to the game.
718.1a. A new player may be represented by a person, or may not be represented by a person.
718.1b. If a new player isn't represented by a person, then the controller of the effect that created the new player controls that player by default. See rule 712.
718.2. A new player entering the game follows the procedure in rule 103, as modified by the effect that created the new player.
718.3. By default, a new player becomes a teammate of the controller of the effect that created it.
718.4.
718.5. If a new player would win the game, you and that player win the game instead.
718.6. When a new player leaves the game, all objects (see rule 109) owned by that player are exiled and any effects which give that player control of any objects or players end. Then, if that player controlled any objects on the stack not represented by cards, those objects cease to exist. Then, if there are any objects still controlled by that player, those objects are exiled. This is not a state-based action. It happens as soon as the player leaves the game. If the player who left the game had priority at the time he or she left, priority passes to the next player in turn order who’s still in the game.
Yeesh. This took like an hour and I still haven't gotten to ROI.
2) What do you think of a 5/2 or 5/1, that can't be blocked except by two or more creatures, attacking on turn 2? Because you can do that with any 2-power 1-drop and Madcap Skills right now.
I am wondering how this works with non-Enchant creature Auras. As the wording is different to Auratouched Mage: "you may search your graveyard, hand and/or library for an Aura card and put it onto the battlefield attached to Boonweaver Giant" vs "search your library for an Aura card that could enchant it.", it seems that it is possible to search up an Aura such as Underworld Connections.
The ability will do as much as it is able to. You can search your library for any Aura, but if it can't be attached to the Giant, then it stays where it was.
According to the new reminder text, you are not reducing its cost to 0.
That's right. I forgot the rules had changed. Hmmm.

702.50. Convoke
702.50a Convoke is a static ability that functions while the spell with convoke is on the stack. “Convoke” means “For each colored mana in this spell’s total cost, you may tap an untapped creature of that color you control rather than pay that mana. For each generic mana in this spell’s total cost, you may tap an untapped creature you control rather than pay that mana.” The convoke ability isn’t an additional or alternative cost and applies only after the total cost of the spell with convoke is determined.
Example: Heartless Summoning says, in part, “Creature spells you cast cost {2} less to cast. You control Heartless Summoning and cast Siege Wurm, a spell with convoke that costs {5}{G}{G}. The total cost to cast Siege Wurm is {3}{G}{G}. After activating mana abilities, you pay that total cost. You may tap up to two green creatures and up to three creatures of any color to pay that cost, and the remainder is paid with mana.
702.50b Multiple instances of convoke on the same spell are redundant.
So, it's not a cost reduction. But you still aren't spending mana to cast it, so it should be fine.
Yeah, I'm curious about this as well. As it's written, there's no way to determine whether the chosen player guessed correctly or incorrectly, so there's no way to know whether the controller of the ability will be able to decide whether to cast the chosen card.
If the latter, then Nullstone Gargoyle, Teeka's Dragon, Darksteel Gargoyle, Death-Mask Duplicant, and Platinum Angel all sort of look like Songbird. Steel Hellkite is probably still your best bet. Oh, or maybe Colossus of Columbia, who has defender until you steal its ward, then it goes monstrous!
Then there's Goblin Dirigible.
Blinding Souleater looks exactly like a boy of silence, plus it can tap down creatures (when you first encounter the boy of silence, you can't move).
Now don't lets start this again.

You can use Shrapnel Blast, or use Chief Engineer to power out bigger creatures like Soul of New Phyrexia and Scuttling Doom Engine. That's good, right? This can be too.
Heh heh. U mad?
The ability will do as much as it is able to. You can search your library for any Aura, but if it can't be attached to the Giant, then it stays where it was.
The card is revealed if it's cast.
