Was explaining the flavor behind it the zombie, the best I could. Also the extra ability makes then just being a 4/4 for 5. So the reason for making a zombie is fitting of name, although no delve in this block so its even less of a drawback (gonna be very few even in limited). So the drawback is near moot unless your playing against cards with the cards (which will be few and far between). My perspective is one that mixes casual, limited as well as what I have gotten from WOTC (yes they have told me some things directly involving how they make cards).
I really like all the dragons, and am particularly excited to see a fairly potent U/B dragon.
That said, I find it rather annoying that they just had to tack mill onto it for reasons. What reasons? I have no idea. If you're connecting with it, it's a four turn clock on its own. That's much faster than milling an opponent to death two at a time. It's just so incredibly confusing and obviously tacked on for one reason or another. I really wish they'd explore design space in U/B a bit more than just tacking on mill every chance they get, as is the case most of the time. But I digress; it's still a fine card, just annoying with the mill ability (Which doesn't make a lick of sense mechanically or flavor wise).
The reason for the mill is, in order to create a zombie you need to make it out of something. Pretty much he pulls a zombie from your spellbook from the mana made the spells put in gy (but it takes 2 mana as work. Also a minor long term loss + chump blockers never hurt (even funnier to mill the removal against the Necromaster).
Well these cards have an extremely shiny border, its a mix of sliver and gold (heh). Anyways looks like a fun card...suddenly player Ican Townfolk is much easier (it costs 5W if I recall). Funny that this is a somewhat practical card in casual.
there are major ramifications if Bolas is defeated (it stems back to Ajani surviving the dragon attack on Jund). Cause technically killing Bolas means the Eldrazi will not be reawakened, Tezz is no longer an agent also that Sarkhan will then never meet Ugin's voice or have a reason to planeswalker originally. This is a major course change. But what will happen, Bolas will likely just flee in glory from Tarkin and then while he is gone Sarkhan has time to revive Ugin.
