This doesn't mean the dream of Mecha-T-Rexes terrorizing the Ixalan countryside is dead though, just that they won't have infect
Well this is just bad naming. Ichor is almost always used to refer to Phyrexian Oil in Magic and thst flavor text sounds ominous. Is ichor even used irl to refer to regualr oil?
Everdream is amazing. First of all that art might be some of my favorite in the game. In EDH specifically this is pure value. You don't really need to be playing a spells deck for this to do work, it essentially gives every spell you cast kicker to cantrip and if you really need to dig it cycles itself for 1U.
You don't know how many times I've looked at Evermind disappointed that it was only splice onto arcane.
Not sure how I feel about ninjas in a heavily european inspired setting, if that is what this plane is. If it's a more abstract/original plane (like some from early Magic) then I'm all for it.
Idk about this in EDH conaidering that a lot of the time your grave can be bigger than it would be in a 60 card format. This would either need to be quite big to get what you want or you would need a lot of delve type effects. I think I would rather run Wildest Dreams for mass regrowth because getting back what you want is often a lot better than just getting back more.
I think they could have justifued this being red by making it a sort of "grave rummage". Add "Then discard X cards." Even if that would have made this cost an extra mana, I think it would have been a lot more interesting that way.
Man they're really just testing what mechanics they can put together in this set and I'm really into it. Convoke on its own would have made that card meh but delve on top of that is spicy.
I know everyone and their grandma has been saying lately it but dang, Seb, you've really been blessing us lately with these artworks.
Also this card looks really cool for pauper. My only gripe for that purpose is that you can't choose not to turn it into an angel if you also want to drop something else that turn, so if you know your opponent has a kill spell for this it'll be hard to keep applying pressure and keep it safe.
Damn I know this set only has non-previously-modern legal cards in it but for the sake of my budget I really would've prefered a Nether Traitor reprint.

And of course that artwork is fantastic.
