That would be even more powerful than Fabled Passage in many circumstances, the downside of Evolving Wilds and this card (while you have only 3 lands or less) is that they slow your development for a turn, having it CIPT and generating colorless mana would almost completely remove any downsides unless you're really desperate for color fixing, I doubt they'd ever print that at uncommon.

Unless you are trying to get the last colored source on turn 4 or later to cast those color-intensive cards.

And that hypothetical card would still qualify as an uncommon. Check it out yourself: the biggest demarcating line between rare and non-rare color-fixing lands is that the rare ones are capable of color fixing the first turn they come down without additional help. Very rarely, some of the uncommon ones can color-fix the first turn they come down, but only with additional payments or with conditions on how the mana can be spent.

It's just so bad when your opp has a Narset out. otoh, if you have Narset, it largely doesn't affect your opponent.

Good point. The more I think about it, the more I realize that this is a very good design. Multicolor decks won't care about this. At the same time though, any monocolor deck will happily pick this up, sometimes even after wheeling it.

Cards which move up and down in value like this are great for the depth and replayability of a limited format.

This mostly free and all-upside in a 20 Plains deck, which is exactly what it's for.

Syr Konrad has to spell out the first two conditions because when a creature dies, the rule sees it as a creature entering the graveyard, but for any other zone, the rule sees it as a creature card entering the graveyard. A trivial issue gameplay-wise, but a major difference rule-wise.

Should have been named "Glory's Blade" or "Seeker's Blade" instead.

I'm bummed that the mythic rare is an emotionless mass of fire. In contrast, the uncommon and rare are full of life. It's a shame that the same artist wasn't given the chance to complete the cycle.

Wow, the flavour text stinks. They could have tried to be more poetic and less direct, maybe something like "No pious plea is too soft." or something like that.

More accurately, this set isn't supposed to have futureshifted cards; MaRo said this himself. This card feels a bit futureshifted.

Am I right in assuming that this will be a house in EDH? Hit the most vulnerable opponent, then destroy the most troublesome planeswalker and artifact on the battlefield?
