After retreating inside the cave, he found an old, frail man, adept in runecasting, after being subdued through the power of runes, he agreed to becoming the man's apprentice. why wouldn't they be real? i've been suprised by the power of cards before but they have still made them. Reference to cards like Tooth and Nail, Darksteel Collosus, Umezawa's Jitte, plus any other cards I can't think of off the bat.
