BUG Delver and RUG Delver are hilariously fun to play against one another.
Isn`t that matchup quite lopsided in BUG`s favour though? I don`t know, I`ve just heard.
Death & Taxes vs. a Delver variant sounds like a load of fun.
RUG is definitely on the faster side and having the ability to burn out someone is about as scary as getting a threat decayed. With that said I've only watched a match between the two variants once or twice but it didn't look like it was in either players favor.
Mirrors in general tend to be fun unless it's miracles or dredge.
People are saying the diamonds can ONLY be payed by colorless mana. It makes sense, a lot of sense. The 8 next to the symbols can be paid with any mana colored or otherwise, while the diamonds next to the number must be paid in colorless.
I'm pretty sure Iso is right with the <> symbol in Kozilek meaning it has to be paid with only colorless and not WUBRG and if so it will still be able to work in cloudpost.
It feels really important to get out the gate strong in this format so playing first when you can almost always seems right to me. As KoboldCleric said there are going to be exceptions but I've found that every time I'm able to curve out I tend to pull too far ahead for them to able to catch up.
ThrivingMagpies is right. Eyeless Watcher isn't normally the pick but anything that can make multiple scions while we already have a Gruesome Slaughter is good to me. Also note that it can be used by Drowner of Hope to tap dudes down.
I've always liked Clutch of Currents and I wouldn't mind grabbing just the one. Exert Influence feels like it may have a higher ceiling to be good but at the same time it could also be a lot worse.
