This is just nit-picking but it adds to the feel that you don't know what you're talking about in this Primer...
Overall, modern is a fun format that allows many decks like this able to be played, but the winning idea of this deck just does not seem competitive outside of an FNM.
I think what he is saying is that the 4 damage from Vexing Devil isn't as good as the Goblin Guide. There is a reason burn decks run Goblin Guide but not Vexing Devil.
Also, anyone who knows your deck (so every game 2) will take the 4 from the devil. That means devil cant be pumped/flung so you really only run what... 12 fling-able creatures? Replacing him with bolt may deal 1 less but it'd be more versatile...
Also, back to Fling being countered. If you drop a Kiln Fiend, then a few Giant Growths, then a Fling and it gets countered. You have no more than 3 cards in hand. Assuming you have been playing 2 cards a turn (meaning lands and a creature of pump) you'll have not have enough cards in hand to pump and another Fling to nuke again regardless of how many are in your deck. And being R/G you don't have a lot of great card draw...
So if you play on curve, you can always be leaked. Your 6 mana nuke won't be played til turn 9, your fling will be on turn 5, with no pump so you'll deal no more than 4 (with Devil).
I also see a problem with how Kiln Fiend and Monastery Swiftspear don't get boosted from Fling, which sucks...
Over all I see this deck running out of steam by turn 4 and losing having dealt maybe 10 damage. Just run burn if you want the fast nuke style deck...

Even if the deck doesn't work well for other reasons, since it says "as an additional cost" you cant respond and target the creature. You could just Mana Leak the spell and they're out a creature and their win. But upon casting the card, you sacrifice the creature (no stack no response etc.)
My first thought was back to Innistrad Humans (G/W was a think I played in standard) so I got out some Champion of the Parishs. Then of course some Gather the Townsfolks. But when I was looking through my uncommon binder I saw Village Cannibals. I was like, this could be fun, so I added some sack outlets. I new he wanted some angels so I thought of Fallen Angel, then I saw I had some Cartel Aristocrats. This led me to the old deck Aristocrats, so I added Doomed Travelers and Xathrid Necromancers. I also added the newish Bloodsoaked Champion as well as Angel of Glory's Rise in order to have late game (maybe). Then to fill it out I added some Angelic Overseers and some lands. Keep in mind that I tried to keep this deck to about $20 (I think it is something around $23) which means no Path's or anything.
