Unfortunately I was wrong about Snapcaster and Cavern of Souls (D**n you Wizards! xD)
I was right about 6/15 of the mythics.
But at least instead of putting the good cards only at mythic we got good cards for every rarity, which is awesome.
For those who were overly pessimistic about this set, where are you now?
Also, I think someone promised to eat their Aether Vial masterpiece...
Now that we know three of the mythics are Griselbrand, Domri Rade and Snapcaster Mage it's pretty funny to see how optimistic everybody was. Who knows, maybe they shifted Stoic Angel up and we know four of the mythics!
I don't know where you get that Snapcaster was confirmed as a mythic If the box image is really Snapcaster Mage (We all thought Impulse was Mother of Runes back in the day, so yea.) and following your way of thought, all goes to it being a rare, giving that the past two Modern Masters sets had the artwork of rare cards on the box.
Griselbrand and Domri aren't nearly the worst reprints, all of us went for a dubious second black mythic, (Liliana is most probably still there) and I rather have Domri than Comet Storm anytime.
And don't even think about Stoic Angel being a mythic, together with "Snapcaster as a mythic" that would be the worst jerk move Wizards could make and it most definitely would backfire. (Eternal Masters even had Bloodbraid Elf's art on the booster which by the way, is an uncommon.)
I just don't understand why this community sometimes is pessimistic just for the sake of being pessimistic.
Azusa would most likely be Mythic to follow in the footsteps of Kikki-Jiki. I think Azusa would make more sense than Craterhoof in the second green mythic slot, as Craterhoof mainly sees Legacy play, and as such, seems more likely to be in Eternal Masters 2.
Same goes for Omniscience. I can't really see that in the set either, since it really only sees Legacy play.
Well, none of the Kamigawa dragons sees play in modern, nor Comet Storm, but they still printed them. And if a "oh but one deck back in 20xx played it" is a reason to print them, some people do try to use Omniscence in modern and lots of people do play Craterhoof. So that's the reason for you. -.-
Eternal Masters should focus more on cards that can't be printed in Modern Masters imo.
Can I go really *fantasy world* here and say they could change their policy on the Reserved List this year so the Amonkhet masterpieces are all cards from the Reserved List?
He might get a superfriends ability since he's always helping out the other planeswalkers. Maybe something like "0 : Until your next turn, prevent all damage that would be dealt to other planeswalkers you control."
Aside from that he'll gain life, create tokens and give +1/+1 counters? I don't expect much else to be honest.
Ancestral Vision, Damnation and Scapeshift. Really? What's mythic about them? How do they affect limited so much they should be mythic, not just because their price tag are high that they should be on the higher rarity slot. Noble Hierarch says hi.

Can you give me the reason you think Magus of the Moon should be a mythic? Specially when Blood Moon was printed as a rare in MMA?

More rarity shifts to enter Pauper.
Bribery, Sliver Legion, Mycosynth Lattice, Seedborn Muse, Rings of Brighthearth, Consecrated Sphinx, Idyllic Tutor, Omniscience, Death Baron, Oracle of Mul Daya, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Counterbalance, Gauntlet of Power and Austere Command.
I also really hope Snapcaster Mage isn't mythic, it would be a really jerk move by wotc.
Ok, a more realistic theme could be Death-related cards giving that the Ancient Egypt had a really big culture about Death. Literal like Damnation, Day of Judgment, Hero's Downfall and things like Greater Good, Death's Shadow, Grave Pact.
Cavern of Souls should be rare. It was printed in a set mythic already existed.
Terese Nielsen art *-* Yes pls

Noble Hierarch was and still is much more expensive than the Mage, shouldn't that be a mythic then?

I'd prefer:
W: Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Linvala, Keeper of Silence;
U: Time Warp and Omniscience;
B: Liliana of the Veil and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed;
R: Warren Instigator and Past in Flames;
G: Craterhoof Behemoth, Tarmogoyf and Vengevine.
Others: Sliver Legion, Mycosynth Lattice, Voice of Resurgence and Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas
Snapcaster Mage, Ancestral Vision, Damnation and Scapeshift should be printed as rares!
I think there's a big chance Seht being one of the gods giving Set.
Ajani might join the Gatewatch and the only question is: Will Oath of Ajani be full naya colors?
