    Summary
    So currently we're a mid-range deck, that is light for removal and tricks and simply hopes that our creatures are bigger/better than theirs.

    Other Thoughts
    We have no nice targets for Species Gorger other than Trostani's Summoner. We currently only have 1 gate for our Gatekeepers, nothing else is going to be particularly nice to bounce (I guess there's a few bounce targets if our evolving fish crab is out). At least he's nice if we have Maze Sentinel out. It'd certainly be nice to land a few of the RTR ETB guys like Azorius Arrester, Centaur Healer, Voidwelder, Lyev Skyknight etc to make him more useful.

    Populate seems pretty sketchy from here. I think we're better off aiming for some detain and other falter effects to try and push through board stalls. Big dumb green dudes and some ramp would be nice too.

    Whether we end up having more evolve or more tokens, it is absolutely horrible when cast against us. We have the chance to be just as horrible to anyone else who cuts us off cards. Its a nice swingy card in its own right that can flat out win you games. I like Slaughterhorn, but not as much as I like bouncing my opponents alpha strike.

    Gatekeepers - there are few token generators in DGM, take this and we've got 2. Pick up a late Wake, get lucky with a gate later and we could be living the dream with Species Gorger bouncing our token producing creatures.

    Mindstatic is a close second, and I won't be unhappy if it wins.

    Plasm Capture into Maze Sentinel! Have to love it when a plan comes together....

    I'm not a phan of Phytoburst though, so I probably do take the Plasm Capture so that we can side in an improbable answer if we have to, and who knows, maybe once it enables us to dump the summoner early and we can walk away knowing that we just created another bad beats story.

    Mutant's Prey.

    If everything goes well, Mutant's Prey is nice removal. There is no upside of Maze Sentinel. If we're playing it we've done something wrong and its going to be a long day anyway.
