I've been using Martyr of Bones as well as Leyline of the Void in my Doran/Rock list and have caused many dredge players to scoop with T:0 Leyline into T:1 Martyr.
@Shinyfirefly:
True but I wanted to try a different angle. Because of the instant-speed removal thing, you have to play this deck differently than you would the body double version. Meaning you have to hold on to the Reveillark for as long as possible so that its not killed w/o Saffi on the board but thats the only restriction I can think of.
The reason I built this is because personnally, I'm not a fan of reanimater-style decks outside of casual.
@ Original Poster: Why Negate over Rune Snag? It seems this deck would have problems with more aggressive decks, in which case even Remove Soul would be better.
Played this deck at my local PTQ on Saturday. Came in 36th going 4-3 with 113 players.
I lost to Dredge, CounterTopGoyf, and some red/green aggro thing with Magus of the Moon.
The dredge match made me smile game 2, cause I was packing 4 Martyr of Bones in my sideboard for it.

Infinite:
Saffi Eriksdotter
+
Reveillark
+
Greater Gargadon/Mirror Entity
+
Mogg Fanatic/Soul Warden/Mogg War-Marshal/Seige-Gang Commander or possibly Aven Riftwatcher if I add it in.
The only creature in the deck that can't be used as a combo peice is Epochrasite
Thats why I think the deck has some resiliancy. Its way easier than it looks to get some kind of combo rolling and on top of that almost every card has some kind of synergy.
Not to mention that it does a semi-decent job of mascquerading as an aggro deck.
For the sideboard I was thinking about Oblivion Ring because as is, the deck has very little removal. I was also thinking about Wrath of God.
As for the Riftwatchers the only thing I think i could take out would be either the Epochrasite, or the War-Marshals.
Ive proxied it and fished a few games, seems pretty resiliant.
4x Mogg War-Marshal
4x Greater Gargaodon
4x Epochrasite
4x Revielark
4x Saffi Eriksdotter
4x Soul Warden
3x Mirror Entity
2x Seige-Gang Commander
4x Incinerate
4x Battlefield Forge
4x Karplusian Forest
4x Treetop Village
2x Horizon canopy
5x Mountain
4x Plains
One of the decks main weaknesses is the very painful manabase. I want to try and squeeze in some Aven Riftwatchers.
Any tips/suggestions?
I too would like to see the erased parts though...
More specifically...Faeries w/Flash.

Game two went like:
Me: Overgrown Tomb tapped, go.
Him: Draw. Watery Grave. Putrid Imp. Discard Golgari Grave Troll. Cycle Street Wraith. Dredge Troll. Into the yard went:
He for some reason discards the troll to the imp and passes the turn.
I'm like, draw, Martyr of Bones, sac revealing 2 putrefy, and a Doran. Targeting Golgari Thug, Golgari Grave troll, and Dread Return.
He reads the card for a while..........
"Scoop".
It was great.
Even though I didnt win the match, that game was a little victory for me inside.........I hate Dredge.......
Dredge
Chase Rare Control
GBW Doran
Gifts Rock
Rock n Nail
BG Rock
U/B Tog
ScepterChant
Just sayin..
Bob advantage=more pressure you can put on your opponent=more oppurtunity for you to win the game.
Ok, new situation.
Match one, game one.
You win the die roll.
