I can cheer for Corey's success but I've never liked the lists he plays. Just a fair week ago he said Thought Scour is an essential card for the strategy, but now he's cutting down on those. As for cutting Tasigur, he experimented with that before the PT as well, but ended up putting them back in. It's hard to say what Jace will end up doing for the strategy, but I'm pretty sure you can't get away in this format with 4 Cryptics and 4 Jaces in the same deck.
So what split are you proposing for Cryptics Commands and Jace's?
Id say look online (or even lgs) for the sleeves that are the cheapest and where you get more per dollar/euro. Start sleeving the most valuable ones first.
That's odd though, I have lots of cards in those cheap penny sleeves and no problems at all. And I have some non-sleeved in binders.
Well where I live sales are probably dropping, since shops have been closing to a point that there isn't a shop to play MTG apart from the capital city.
I live in one of the biggest cities and there is no shop open.
So I guess sales must be dropping. Part of this due to the decline MTG has been lately.
Well the new set is looking pretty weak, there is that pseudo red and worse snapcaster. But apart from that, probably nothing will see modern playability.
Those commons that give +1/+1 but give other bonus if it's a pirate does seem really lazy and poor design imo.
The overall low power of every set is what makes players not even bother with buying packs and go for the singles they need instead, making the whales and big sellers profit from this.
This, the fetches that haven't seen standard definitely need to. Liliana of the veil too, goyfs, Bobs, they all should see standard again soon as they are not too powerful for it.
Wizards need to care less about secondary market and support the real players. I own Snapcasters, cryptic commands and don't care if they get reprinted.
Cards are meant to be reprinted. And not as extra super rare mythics.
And FNM, support FNM's please. More promos, if you want FNM lands, give them to every participant as well as the other FNM promos for winners, etc.
Oh and yeah, standard doesn't fire as well in the shop where I play, in the capital of the country lol
